THE MOULDING PRESSES SETTING The Goal of Educational Programme: To prepare well educated workforce for labour market through systematical education in field of injection mould setting. The Method of Education: * E-learning * Teoretical preparation in classroom – lecture, worskhop, problem solving & troubleshooting following the task definition * in MAPRO SLOVAKIA, Ltd.´s training centre facility in Orovnica village – training, problems solutions and trouble shooting folowing the task definition The Target(s) Group(s): employees working in field of operation and setting of injection mould presses, • employees working in field of operation and setting CNC machinery, • either unemployed or employed graduates finished secondary technician school passing the leaving examination • either unemployed or employed graduates finished secondary non-technician school passing the leaving examination however, prove of relevant work experience in production is needed Prerequisite Requairments onto Educational Programme Participants: technical thinking - (testing for technical skills and knowledge) • at least secondary school with or without the leaving examination (technician oriented or any related field preferably) • technically educated candidated does not have to prove the previous working in moulding or related fields • non-technician has to proove at least 3 year working in field of injection moulding or realted industry Graduates Profile: Participant of eudcational programe will gain knowledge and skills from field of injection moulds setting and will be able to: • to accomplish production changes properly, • to launch production following the production layout, • to perform regular quality checks both before and during production launch, • to accomplish continual moulding presses maintanance and mould tools maintance, • to disassembly and assembly of mould presses and tools • to set up the injection mould´ peripheries for ready to use, • to handle industrial robots used in injection moulding • to mentor newly recrited staff for production The Mode of Final Exam: * the theoretical – written testing (after each modul conclusion) * practice - exam – solve out concrete task right by side of injection mould press Organisation and the range of programme: Eduational course takes 156 hours (19 days) – in structure of 18 independent moduls, each of them may be undertaken individually alwazy with the Modul 1.which has to be passed with any others except Modul 8. Practice is designed into two or three-days moduls of which 65% is focused onto trouble shooting of daily problems from production. Moduls description: Module 1: Safety, sanitation environment protection (10 hours/1 day) Modul is focused on health and safety theory and practice in respect of operate mould presses. Participants get familiar to personal protective equipment obligatory in mould work. Module 2: Injection moulding technology (16 hours/2 days) Modul is devoted to become well oriented in plastic materials used in moulding, its origin, chemistry and attributes, as well as branding and commercial names. Module 3: Machinery used in injection moulding (16 hours/2 days) Modul is focuesd on obtain the knowledge of injection presses, plastification as the essential working cycle, presses and its peripheries´ continual maintanance. Participant becomes familiar with form mould and tooling, peripheries for granulate processing. Module 4: Mould presses setting (40 hours/5 days) Modul is oriented to introductory of injection moulding working cycle and its phases, offers to gain skills in form assembly, injection unit setting, nand setting of technological parame- ters. Participants is capable to start up injecting and accomplish form disassembly. Module 5: Injection moulding optimalisation (24 hours/3 days) Modul offers knowledges on identification of mould fails, gain of skills in working cycle cor- rection Modul counts usefull analyse of most often failure causes and its correction. Participants get familiar with special injection technologies (cascade, compresed multi-compressed, etc.) Module 6: Quality in injection moulding (10 hours/1 day) Modul introduces systems and quality regulation necessary in injection moulding production processes. Participant becomes familiar with tools for quality control. Module 7: Robotics – robots and manipulators (24 hours/3 days) Modul giving ability to manage robots and manipulators comonly used as the injection moulding periphery. Participant becames capable to operate Demag, Wittmann, Geiger, etc. robots. Module 8: Trainers – training (training of knowledge and skills delivery for new recrited staff) (16 hours/2days) This unit gives to participant the ability to passing along the knowlwdge and skills mostly to newly recrited staff, hired once for operate respectively machinery and robots setting. Beside of setters this model fits to individuals which are in charge of either technical trainers or shift/team-leaders.
