PARISH NEWS St. Michael/St. Joseph Knights of Columbus will be collecting non perishable food

items and paper goods for the local food pantry on Sunday, June 10th. Collections are the 2nd Sunday of every month at St. Michaels.

Summer Giving: I would like to encourage all of us to be faithful in our giving during the summer months, which begin now with the end of the school year.

The fiscal year for our parishes ends on the last day of June, and I hope everyone

can catch up on their giving, if needed, so that all our parishes can remain financially sound. As you probably know, at St. Patrick’s electronic giving can be set up on a regular basis with no cost to you or to the parish; simply call or stop by the Cluster office for further information. Or, one could give on a monthly basis so that parish income can remain steady throughout the year. Thanks for all that you do and remember the words of our Lord: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (Acts 20:35). —Fr. Mike

We are looking for a volunteer to fill a council seat. St. Joseph’s needs (1) council

member. The council meets 3 to 4 times a year. If interested please contact the Tama office at 641-484-3039.

St. Joseph Fall Dinner Committee is in need of people to serve on the main

committee. This is a 3-year commitment with the first year mostly being training. Please consider helping by serving on this committee. If you have any questions or might be interested please call Steph. Thank you!

St. Patrick Festival Committee is in need of couples to serve on the main

committee. This is a 3-year commitment with the first year mostly being training. Please consider helping our parishes by serving on these committees. If you have any questions or might be interested please call Steph. Thank you!

Do you have extra garden produce that you would like to share with your St.

Patrick family members? The Table of Plenty is set up in the gathering space for your

extra produce. Anyone in the parish can take home what they will use and enjoy fresh products! Thank you in advance for sharing your produce with others! You will be following in the footsteps of Jesus when you share your bounty with others! For questions about this call Betty Hayek.

How to get to St. Pat’s Mass on the website: It is VERY simple. If you get on the

internet and go to http://tinyurl.com/stpatsmass it comes right up. The most recent Mass should be ready to be watched or you can find it on the top of the list on the right side of the screen.

A special note to all our Cluster Parishioners, please remember to check our

Parish Facebook pages each month for news, pictures and events.

Parishioners of Circle of Saints Cluster: If you no longer have a land line phone and

have only a cell phone number please call the Parish Office at St. Pat’s to help us keep our records up to date. Thank you.

Parishioners of Circle of Saints Cluster: Due to privacy laws we are not notified when a parishioner is in the hospital, nursing home or been sent home. Please call the parish office or send us an email to keep us informed. Also, notify us if a parishioner has died and had their funeral services elsewhere. This will help us keep our records up to date. Thank you!

STEWARDSHIP Stewardship: The bishop’s stewardship pastoral asks, “And what do Christians bring

to the Eucharistic celebration and join with Jesus’ offering?” The answer: “Their lives as Christian disciples; their personal vocations and the stewardship they have exercised regarding them; individual contributions to the great work of restoring all things in Christ.”

Question of the week: Share one way that the Eucharist connects us as “one body” –

how does it change the way we relate to each other?
