The mission of the Manufacturing Career Expo is to assist in the development of a future workforce by raising student awareness of the companies and opportunities in the local manufacturing industry and the corresponding educational pathways.

MCE: Helping to Create the Workforce of Tomorrow

As a manufacturing leader in your industry, the Menomonee Falls Chamber of Commerce, Germantown Area Chamber of Commerce, and Sussex Area Chamber of Commerce, welcome your participation in and/or sponsorship of the 11th annual Manufacturing Career Expo (MCE) being held October 23 & 24, 2019.

Locally hosted at Washington County Fair Park & Conference Center, this event will bring together local manufacturers, high school and middle school students, as well as educators and parents, to raise awareness of the career opportunities available in the local manufacturing industry. Student Attendance: Since the MCE’s beginning in 2009, we have welcomed over 6,400 students, educators and parents to the Expo. This year, attendance is expected to reach 1,000 guests to the Expo. Invitations to attend have been sent to every high school in Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee and Milwaukee counties, plus several local home school organizations. Scholarships: To date, over $30,000 have been raised! Each year, a portion of the proceeds from the MCE are dedicated to funding education scholarships. These funds, along with corporate MCE scholarship contributions, are distributed to graduating seniors from each of the chamber partnership school districts. It is the hope of the MCE, that one day, a scholarship recipient will come full circle and establish a career with a local manufacturer. With your partnership we can provide the opportunity to make that happen.

Expo Dates & Times:

October 23rd: 7 AM - Doors open for exhibitors, continental breakfast

NOTE: ALL booths must be set-up by 7:45 AM

8 AM – 2 PM - Expo Open

NOTE: Box lunches will be available for exhibitors at approximately 11:30 am.

October 24th: 7 AM - Doors open for exhibitors, continental breakfast

8 AM – Noon - Expo Open

12:05 PM - Tear-down. Please do not begin to tear-down your booth until the Expo has officially closed at noon. Thank you.

NOTE: All booths should be packed-up and removed following the MCE on October 24th.
