The March/April Issue
From the 39ers PresidentsWelcome to our Spring issue. You can’t complain about the weather, it has been glorious. We have been busy planning and you can look forward to our Monday programs, as well as Purim and our annual mini-seder. We will celebrate Purim with hamantashen on Monday, March 21st and our seder will be on Monday, April 22nd. We need volunteers for the seder, so please let any of our board members know you are available. Our members are the most valued part of the 39ers. We need you to be actively involved in the planning process as well as enjoyment of our programs. Most of us have done volunteering in the past and don’t want that responsibility at this time of our lives. Unfortunately, without your commitment, we may not able to continue into the future. Our nominations for officers are coming up so, please volunteer to get involved. We would like to take a moment and thank our long time member, Claire Mercer. Claire has led our organization for many years, ran many parts of the organization, as well as the Sunday movies. She has been involved in every aspect of the 39ers. Claire has been an inspiration to all of us, and we thank her for the many years of service. —Barbara and Sheldon
