Pamela a native New Yorker, who now resides in

Maryland, has been designing and making jewelry

pieces since 2001. It all started when she was

looking for a Christmas gift for the daughter of a friend.

She ended up buying a jewelry making kit and as she

looked through the instructions she thought “That’s how

they make jewelry, I think I can do this”. From there she

enrolled in several jewelry making classes at her local

bead store.

Her new hobby quickly had her producing more jewelry

that she could wear herself, so she started sharing the

pieces with friends. Through the encouragement and

support of her family and friends she decided to start The

Majestic Bead to sell her handmade jewelry.

In addition to making jewelry, Pamela also loves to knit.

She also started knitting back in 2001. She has found both

of her hobbies to be extremely relaxing and challenging,

at the same time. Her inspiration for selecting color

combinations and mixing different beads together can

come from almost anywhere. She has found inspiration from looking at different mixes of yarn to

just perusing her stash of beads, and playing with different color combinations.

She loves to use a variety of gemstones and glass beads made by other artists in her jewelry designs.

Many of the pieces are made with gemstones such as Turquoise, Carnelian, Fire Agate, and Pearls,

mixed with pieces of silver. Jewelry prices range from $10.00 to $100.00.
