CORONAVIRUS: -REVISED-
We wanted to resend the letter Miss Darlene sent out in regards to the Coronavirus.
We ask if you or your child or other family mem-bers who have traveled to China or if family members are coming to visit, please be aware of this illness and its symptoms. We no longer al-low children to attend school with colds (no green or yellow mucous) or coughs or other res-piratory illnesses. Please read our current policy on illnesses:
▪ Children are not to attend school if they have
a temperature of 100 degrees or over. If they develop said fever at school they will be sent home. They must be fever free for 72 hours. A note from the doctor may be required.
▪ If your child cannot keep up with the daily rou-tine of the school, i.e. jet lag, lack of sleep, sick, etc. they will be sent home.
▪ You must pick up your child within an hour of being called.
Please e-mail us if you have any questions. Our most important goal is the safety and health of all children, staff and families that enter our school. We appreciate your cooperation and un-derstanding.

LMP HAS 4 CLASSES WITH 12 CHILDREN IN EACH CLASS. WE ARE WORKING VERY HARD TO MAINTAIN SAFE DISTANCING, EXTRA CLEANING THROUGHOUT THE DAY, WASHING HANDS OFTEN, TEMPERATURES TAKEN AND MASK REQUIRE-MENTS. WE ARE SO PLEASED YOU HAVE CHOSEN OUR SCHOOL TO CARE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. WE ARE TRULY HONORED.
Due to the COVID-19, children who were eligible to graduate in June 2020 were not able to do so. We will have a small ceremony in August to honor our gradu-ates. You are invited to come to the school on the scheduled day of your child’s teacher’s date which is listed below:
Miss Berenice’s Class—August 8th, 10 :00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
Miss Tanya’s Class—August 15th, 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Miss Gayle’s Class—August 22nd, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
The graduation ceremony is staggered throughout August so that we can practice safe distancing. The ceremony will take place outside in the playground. If you would like to attend please email Miss Darlene at [email protected] by August 4th. There will be pictures taken which Miss Darlene will send to you, small gifts, treats and diplomas for the children gradu-ating.
We will practice safe distancing by having everyone stay in their cars until your child’s name is called. With everyone’s cooperation we can make this a memorable event for you and your child.

Butterfly Apples
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup of peanut butter 8 pieces of celery, thin strips, 2 inch long
4 fresh carrots Colored decorator sugar—optional
1 large apple
DIRECTIONS:
Spoon 2 tablespoons peanut butter onto center of each of 4 individual plates. Shape peanut but-ter on each plate into a mound about 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Place 1 carrot down center of each mound of peanut butter.
Cut apple into quarters; remove core. Cut each quarter into 7 thin slices; cut 1 slice in half cross-wise. Fan 3 apple slices on each side near top of each carrot to form upper wings. Place 1 half-slice on each side near bottom of each carrot to form lower wings.
Place 2 strips of celery at top of each carrot to form antennae. Sprinkle apple slices with decora-tor sugar (optional).
Decorate wings with raisins, craisins, peas, fruit loops or Cheerios.
If anyone in your family is allergic to peanut butter, you may substitute cream cheese or almond butter.
