Here’s the Sitch... Lights around the campus are being replaced with LED lighting. They’re decorative and much

brighter than standard bulbs—and more importantly, very energy-efficient!

Baptismal Font – The construction is still on schedule to begin June 27, 2019.

Church Exterior Walls – Painting of the exterior of the Church begins June 10, 2019. Proceeds from the Parish Festival will help offset some the cost.

Sincerely, Fr. Ken

We just celebrated Pentecost. Jesus said to us, “Peace be with you.” The Holy Spirit has come upon us, and guess what? We are now leaving the Pentecost room with new excitement and peace to share with others. God is giving us “summertime” – a time to reflect, a time to open all that he has taught us, and given to us to explore. Let us leave this room to share some fellowship with our brothers and sisters. Let us spend some time outdoors, experience some of God’s creations. Let us go on a road trip, one day, maybe two. I personally like going to the beach, especially visiting the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Let us invite friends and family to a barbeque or go to one. Summer food is the best. Fresh fruit, po-tato salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, s’mores, corn on the cobb, chilled watermelon and fellowship. Think of all your summer memories and stories of the past. This summer, we will start new stories for future generations to hear. God has opened the door for us. Let us leave this Pentecost room with a prayer, that the Holy Spirit will safely guide us and our loved ones this summer to a place of peace, happiness, laughter, excite-ment, surprises, and a chance of meeting new friends or reconnecting with old friends. May you all have a summer of blessings and new memories.

From the Desk of Dcn. Steve...

Trinity Sunday—In today’s Gospel reading, we see that God’s very life is one of communion. In the Trinity, we see a relationship of giving and receiving, a communion of life and love. God exists as a relationship of Persons. He is Three, and yet the “Lord God is One.” How are we to bring this kind of Oneness — of love and communion — to our lives now?
