3 Daft Monkeys A JOINT PROMOTION BETWEEN LISKERRETT
COMMUNITY CENTRE AND LISKEARD PUBLIC HALL
BRINGS ‘HIGHLIGHTS OF GLASTONBURY’
3 DAFT MONKEYS TO LISKEARD
7.30pm Saturday 14th October 2017 - Liskeard Public Hall, West Street, Liskeard PL14 6BW
Bringing vibrant and sparkling new songs from their recently released album, Year of the Clown, festival
favourites 3 Daft Monkeys perform a brand new set of their quirky, original and up-beat fiddle-driven tunes. Now with
a 4 piece line up, the band are taking their famously dynamic live show to new danceable, dizzy heights.
Jenny Foster, manager of Liskerrett Centre, said ‘We’re delighted to be working with Liskeard Public Hall and Carn to Cove,
Cornwall’s Rural Touring Scheme, to bring this show to Liskeard. It’s going to be a great night – the band are renowned for their
fabulous live performances and we’re ready to show them a proper Liskeard welcome!’
With Celtic and Eastern influences, the 3 Daft Monkeys style of world folk music reflects the global village in which we
now live. Their infectious dancing rhythms lead you through a musical journey of the senses and emotions, and will
leave you breathless, enthralled and exhilarated.
After experiencing the band's notoriously energetic live performance at Glastonbury, Mark Radcliffe declared them as
one of his 'Highlights of the Festival' on BBC TV and subsequently invited them to play a session on his BBC Radio 2
Folk show.
