But in the ensuing his infruriated friends killedhim.Mantanga went to the hell. Lord Yama said that is was not yet time for him todie. He should be sent back to his body as he would lead a good life thereafter.Chitrangupta showed him the various punishments meted out to the Simmers andmade him enter body again. The Brahmin who took care of Matanga's body taughthim various scripture and the method of worshipping Lord Siva. Mantanga left hisrelatives and lived in the Jungle alone worshipping Siva.Matanga's dream_- O Prince! I must tell you a secret. Last night Lord Sivaappeared before me in dreams and tole me - Matanga!
