Dear Parents,

Welcome to our first newsletter! This newsletter will be posted on your child’s teacher’s website

and the Kindergarten website each week. This is the place where we will communicate important

upcoming events, list Popcorn Words for the week, assign homework and share what we are doing in the

classroom.

We truly had an exciting first week of school! We are still working very hard to establish

routines and procedures. We will continue learning about being a Cibolo Green Champion through the 7

habits lessons. Please discuss with your child what they have learned each week.

Please remember that every Monday is College Shirt day, every Wednesday is Wellness

Wednesday where you can wear your “Wellness/P.E.” T-shirt and every Friday is Spirit Shirt day. We

hope you all have a FABULOUS Labor Day weekend!

Please Read for 20 minutes each evening.. If you are not reading yet, look

for words you know in books you have at home and an adult read a story to

you. Point to each word as the adult reads to you.

You do not need to turn anything in, just have a conversation

with your child!

Monday: Discuss what a habit is with your child.

Tuesday: What is one way you can greet someone?

Wednesday: What does it mean to be Proactive?

Thursday: What is 1 goal you have for this year

And how will you reach it?
