Let me first start with a thank you to those of you who not only participated in the appeal last year, but allowed us to run the most successful cam- paign in years. This year, we once again anticipate the upcoming chagim as a time of great hope, mingled with great responsibility. Reflect- ing on the past year, I am proud- er than ever to be a member of The Jewish Center. Our syna- gogue continues to play a signifi- cant role as a leader on the Up- per West Side and in the Jewish community, and our incredible clergy and lay leaders continue to inspire us and guide us. But the responsibility lies with each of us to ensure that The Jewish Cen- ter can continue to maintain its high level of excellence. I ask you to use this time to think about what The Jewish Center means to you, and take this opportunity to give tzedakah in the merit of our tefilot for the coming year. Your donation, at any level, can make a real differ- ence! A terrific committee of members has volunteered to help with this effort. In the coming weeks we will be in touch with you to discuss how vital this ap- peal is to maximize the potential of our Jewish Center. To make it easier, you can donate on our website or feel free to be in touch with Po- lina in the shul office at 212-724- 2700 x100 to make payment arrangements.
