The Church of the Palms hosted the Sixth Annual Memorial Day Concert Sunday, May 27, featuring The Jacobites Band under the direction of Greg Gregory and Gary Reinstrom and the Key Chorale under the direc-tion of Music Director Joseph Caulins and Executive Director Richard Storm.

otic residents from Longboat Key and the surrounding Sarasota area. The Jacobites, a Scottish pipe and drum band, opened the show with a processional escorting in the color guard from the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and the Coastguard.
The Jacobites Highland Dancers performed two danc-es, and Sarasota’s Key Chorale performed patriotic and
spiritual tunes, as well as accompanying the Jacobites performance.
Longboat resident and Realtor Mark Huber performs with the Key Chorale and was welcomed by Longboaters who attended the performance.
