Tribe Names Mohawk , Seneca , Oneida , Cayuga , Onondaga .Those are the tribe names.

They lived in present day Pennsylvania , and New York. They lived in longhouses back then. They lived near or in thick forest. The land affected the shelter they lived in.

Where They Lived .

They lived in a area with a lot of wood. They hunted deer , elk, bear, and beaver.

How They Decided Where To Live .

A village could make 150 longhouses. “until the 1500’s the five Iroquois tribes

devoted much energy toward fighting”. “The Massachusetts Mohawk trail began as

a native American footpath” . “ The longhouses was the center of Iroquois

life” .

Back then Now

The Indians gave resources and food.

But we save money instead of giving away money most of the time.

They work together in challenges .

We go against each other in challenges.

They don’t care for time because they really didn’t have time .

We really care about time .

Comparisons of native tribes to today

We learned “until the 1500’s the five Iroquois tribes devoted much energy to fighting". Also “the longhouse is the center of the Iroquois life ”. And so that’s what we learned.
