About the College
Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women
(Autonomous) is one of the leading engineering
colleges in Andhra Pradesh and was established by
Padma Bhushan Dr. B.V. Raju in the year 2001.The
College is located in pollution free campus in
Vishnupur, 3 KM from Bhimavaram on Tadepalligudem
Road. The sprawling campus spread over 100 Acre
serene scenic landscape is ideal for studies and is unique
in this entire region. It resembles a University
environment. The Institute provides an excellent
opportunity for the women students to acquire specific
skills and pursue their intellectual development. At
present, the Institute is offering the following courses
leading to B.Tech. degree.

About the Department
We started Mechanical Engineering program in
2009.The Faculty in the department are excellent in
terms of qualification and experience, coming from
various reputed universities, industries and research
oriented organizations. Faculties are committed to the
noble cause of teaching learning process synchronizing
with their efforts. Our students are trained in Solid Edge
design laboratory, AutoCAD, FEMAP, CAM EXPRESS
and Ansys software. The motto is to "Develop the strong
core background and make the students marketable to
local and national industries, government agencies, and
graduate schools”.
About the Workshop Autodesk INVENTOR is a computer-aided
design application for creating 3D digital prototypes
used in the design, visualization and simulation of
products. Inventor includes an integrated motion
simulation, assembly and stress analysis environment.
Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D CAD/CAM tool for
product development that combines industrial and
mechanical design, collaboration, and machining in a
single package. Fusion 360 enables fast and easy
exploration of design ideas with an integrated concept-
to-production platform.
Objectives: Explain the role of solid modeling, assembly
and associative engineering drafting in

Registration: Participants have to send their
registration form to the coordinators in the prescribed
format duly attested by the Head of the Institution along
with the registration fee in the form of a Demand Draft,
drawn at any nationalized bank in favor of Principal,
Shri Vishnu Engineering College for Women,
payable at Vishnupur, Bhimavaram.
The registration fee includes lunch, dinner, snacks and
Tea with accommodation on all the days of the event
along with workshop kit.
