A nimation leaders, Disney/Pixar, may not have made it

but that hasn’t stopped ‘Madagascar’ from being one of the most popular animated movie franchises of all time.

The hilarious team of escapees, from New York’s Central Park Zoo, are back for the third installment and this time… Europe is their playground.

Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman

the Giraffe (David Schwimmer) are still fi ghting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure.

Their journey takes them through Europe where they fi nd the perfect cover – a travelling circus, which they reinvent… Madagascar style.

The fi lm has done exceptionally well at the box offi ce, already raking in more than $580

million worldwide.One critic summed

it up best by saying: “Bring on number four”.

T he original tag team fi ghter that started it all is

back and he has never looked so good!

‘Tekken Tag Tournament 2’ is the latest installment of the Tekken fi ghting game series and delivers new and returning characters in the largest roster ever.

It currently boasts the most amount of characters in a Tekken game with more than 50 characters including Kunimitsu, Michelle, Angel and Ogre.

Experience the

most advanced attack mechanics, ultimate combo move sets and new battle modes. With innovative features to broaden Tekken consumer accessibility, unlimited fi ghter combinations and multiple ways to challenge your friends – get ready for the next series of epic battles!

This is the second game in the series to have a focus on Tag team battles rather than one-on-one battles.

Tekken is to feature not only two versus two battles, but also one on

one games and as an entirely new addition, one on two battles. Never underestimate the heart of a champion.

The game is released September 13.

T here was a serious lack of new DVDs and

Blu-Ray out this week, hence why Madonna-directed fi lm, ‘W.E.’, is our pick of the week.

‘W.E.’ tells the story of two fragile but determined women, Wally Winthrop and Wallis Simpson, separated by more than six decades.

In 1998, lonely New Yorker Wally Winthrop (Abbie Cornish) is obsessed with what she perceives as the ultimate love story: King Edward’s VIII’s

abdication of the British throne for the woman he loved, American divorcée Wallis Simpson.

But Wally’s research, including several visits to the Sotheby’s auction of the Windsor Estate, reveals that the couple’s life together was not as perfect as she thought. Weaving back and forth in time, ‘W.E.’ intertwines Wally’s journey of discovery in New York with the story of Wallis and Edward (James D’Arcy), from the glamorous early days of their romance to the slow

unravelling of their lives. The fi lm has not

received good feedback but judge for yourself!

D ublin’s fi nest – Danny O’Donoghue,

Mark Sheehan and Glen Power – step up to the podium with their Olympic sized new album!

Fans are extremely excited about the new album, aptly title ‘#3’, which will hit stores this week.

It’s been a rags-to-riches glory ride for the three young Dubliners who took on the world, with music fashioned from the emotional history of their own hard lives raised up by a love of pop,

rock, hip hop and soul.Script front man,

O’Donoghue said he is very excited about the new record.

“We are more confi dent about our sound and have tried to fi ne tune our writing skills. Find songs that mean something and that people would like to sing out loud at a concert. We really just want to nail this new album,” O’Donoghue said.

‘#3’ includes the hit single ‘Hall of Fame’, an uplifting piano-led track that sees the

band collaborate with new pal will.i.am for lyrical twists and turns in a very emotional and inspiring duet.

This album captures as much emotion in its sound as it does in its lyrics.
