Saturday, September 21Happiness and Personal Peace Workshops and Flash Mob

Students involved in the Leadership, Experiences, Opportunity (LEO) certification program are planning an interactive workshop for high school girls around the topics of happiness and personal peace. Part of the workshop will be a flash mob, a seemingly random group of people coming together for an artistic expression.

The workshop will be held on campus for a small group of local high school students on Wednesday, September 18. This group will perform the flash mob on campus at the Peace Pole ceremony on September 20.

A second workshop will be held on Saturday, September 21, for Kansas City high school girls involved in the Young Women on the Move program. This flash mob will be performed at the City Market that morning around 11 a.m.

Any faculty, staff or students are interested in joining us for any of these events can contact Denise Hedges at x2204 or [email protected].
