7. The Eucharist is a feast

Is it a feast or a sacrifice?

The Mass is a sacrifice: It is Christ’s Death on the Cross to expiate for our

sins. But it is a wonderful

feast because of many reasons.

We also celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection in the Mass

How can we not be

happy if Jesus has

risen?

The Eucharist is a great Christian feast

Jesus instituted the Eucharist in a

great Jewish feast: the

Passover. By this, He wants to say

that the Eucharist is a great

Christian feast, replacing the

Jewish Passover.

God talks to us

God talks to us in the readings.

Listening to Him makes us happy.

We are reunited with Jesus in the Mass

It is a joy for us to be together and to sing to God. Aside from Him, those present are the Father and the Holy

Spirit, the Virgin Mary, the angels, the saints in Heaven, the souls in Purgatory, and all creatures.

Sacrifices are not a sad thing

Sacrifices are like a gift we give to

God. It is always a gift that is done

lovingly and cheerfully. It is a

feast to give thanks, to adore, to praise God, to know that He forgives our

sins. Jesus gives Himself to us

cheerfully.

What a joy when they told me... !

That is why I hurry up in order not to arrive late. Jesus

waits for me on the altar.

I don’t care if i wake up early, if I have to stop playing...

Because the joy of participating in the Mass and receiving

Jesus is my greatest treasure. The
