The Future of Community – Based
Services and EducationThen Now
• Diversity is important when it comes to personal and professional growth. Being able to learn and understand where each person comes from or why their beliefs are different, is a form a diversity. Education focuses greatly on diversity and the culture when preparing a learning environment for all students.
• Diversity is what has been known within the professional and personal learning environment. Trying to imagine a community or an educational classroom that is not diverse, is quite non existent. The platform for education has always focused on diversity and allowing individuals of all backgrounds to work together to conquer the ultimate goal.
Diversity
As diversity is a present task in 2014 when it comes to personal and professional organizations, fifteen years from now, many individuals will most likely not be aware of what diversity really means. As education advances for the adult learners, diversity will have already been something that each individual has been exposed and most likely accepting of, without even knowing it. Fifteen years from now, diversity may not be any form of an issue or discussion when combining individuals of different backgrounds, ethnic groups, as well as religious beliefs. As diversity is becoming more accepting each year, a decade from now, diversity may not play a key role in the education or community, due to the growing world of learners.
