there was an old manwho planted someturnip seeds.

He watered them

and cared for themand soon the seeds

began to grow.

ust a big turnip.

And then somethinghappened.

The old man woke upone morning to find

that one of his

turnips had grownmuch more than the

others

at the turnip with allhis might but it

would not budge& Sohe shouted to his

wife for some help&

Then# together# theypulled# and pulled

and pulled andpulled# but the

enormous turnip stillwould not budge&

the woman shoutedto a little boy whowas playing in the

field.

turnip patch to help
