ScienceAs we move in to the summer term, we are learning about plants. Our 2 key things to learn about are:

observe and describe how seeds and bulbs grow into mature plants know what plants need in order to survive

What do plants need to grow? https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zpxnyrd/articles/zxxsyrd

Create a plant – can you create or build a plant? Can you label the different parts? You can make this out of junk modelling, paper/card, lego etc. or you can use your artistic skills to draw this!

Take a photo of your labelled creation and email it to: [email protected] (Subject: FAO Mrs Cain). Please email it to me by Thursday 27th April and I will upload these to our Corpus Christi Facebook page for everyone to see your learning!

REIt’s still Easter!

A great symbol of Easter is the Easter or Paschal Candle. A sign that Jesus, the Light of the World, is still with us, a light shining to others. This video explains its symbolism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PnqIEwb3c8

Create a 3D Paschal candle including the important symbols.

BIG QUESTION: How will you try and show others what it means to be a follower of Jesus?

Topic On the Farm: Cows

What is a cow’s baby called? What is a boy cow called? What is a girl cow called? What do cows eat?

What do cows produce? What food can this be turned into?

Explore your food cupboards, what have cows helped to make?!

Enjoy some extra information:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWFExh_fp7o
