BENEFITS OF A STUDENT SUCCESS TEAM
• Increases the opportunity for student success by affecting all areas of
student development
• Improves the school’s relationship with the community at large
• Provides students and their families with greater access to a broad
range of services
• Decreases the stigma associated with mental health/social services
• Creates a cost-effective system to deliver support services
• Provides schools with access to services from agencies at no additional
cost to the system (e.g., consultation, grants supported programs)
