This course is designated to training first year substitute teachers to handle and complete daily classroom procedures and engage with students in the classroom.

Hired Elk Grove Unified School District first year substitute teachers.

Live in person, Objective led format.

Goal: Elk Grove Unified School District first year substitute teacher training course participants will be able to handle daily procedures and emergencies with students in various classroom settings.

Goal: Elk Grove Unified School District first year substitute teacher training course participants will be able to engage with students in various classroom settings.

• Objective # 1.1: Given a classroom of students, participants of the Elk Grove Unified School District first year substitute teacher training course will be able to create and implement an effective lesson plan in 15 minutes.
