Not only those it have a most pleasurable location, but the hotel also serve most enjoyable food. This is the only other place where I have eaten Chicken (hot) wings, which taste exactly like Kentucky fried

chicken’s hot wings, probably not made the same way, and they make a great Milk-shake. Everything is cleaned every

In every country in the world, there are plenty of hotels to choose from. Each and every one of us has a favourite hotel, when we travel, or else we are looking for such a place. We each have our own ‘needs’ and ‘wants’ which has a huge affect upon the hotels that people choose. I personally do not like too fancy a hotel, I like places where people are grounded and relaxed. St. Joseph is a kind of hotel that more than satisfies my needs and wants, and for the prices they have, I find it to be a gold mine of its own kind. Its location is perfect for both the fancy shopper and the culture seeking traveller. It is located in a cultural centre, one way you have the local

bazaar, which is a must see place. Meeting the locals should be very important, when visiting other countries. Then when you go the other way you are steps away from the high class shopping stores, the shops almost glitter at night. You are a

short walk away from Luxor Temple and the Nile bank, where you can sit in comfort and enjoy a Mango juice. St. Joseph hotel staff are truly kind and always

very helpful.

Luxor Temple is a must see place, when you are in Luxor, Egypt. Most people visit it in the day time with their guides, but I actually recom-mend that you take a trip to the temple in the evening. Lights have been placed, to give the structure of the temple more affect. It is actu-ally three (or more) tem-ples, one inside an-other, and another one behind this. The reliefs becomes more alive in the evening, and again the lights adds to this effect. Being over 1400 years old, it is truly a wonder in its own right. I prefer being in Luxor temple, in the evening. Most notable figure at this temple, must be said to be Ramesses II. As you enter the temple, you are meet by two gigantic statues of Ramesses sitting, watching towards the Karnak temple. He was a great rule, and with probably the largest

family in Egyptian history. But he was not the first to build at this site, for Ramesses temple is as arms around the boat temple of Hatshepsut. This temple was in ancient days, known as a festival temple, and if you look closer at the reliefs you will see dancers and other entertainments. Each temple has its own secrets and so does Luxor temple, I have

brought light upon some, in my guide book The magical guide to Luxor temple. It is inter-esting to look closer at Hashepsut’s boat tem-ple, its beautiful reliefs', goes beyond anything Ramesses II build. But Hatshepsut’s fine are does not go beyond the great scales that Ramesses artist worked on. Reliefs from Tutankhamen's festival is also to be found, and a statue still stands in front of them.

years old artefacts still containing their magical touch. The underground hall is where you will find this treasure. Other fascinating objects and reliefs show the famous Aknaton and workers

from this period.

You will even find some of Hatshepsut’s things here, such as a huge stone, showing her with her obelisks, a set of twin obelisks which she dedicated and gave to the god Amun. This is the same exact obelisk which stands between the Fourth and Fifth

pylon in Karnak temple.

Another relief that is fascinating, and is classified as one of the oldest artefact being

over 2000 years old, is not a n inscription of a famous pharaoh, but rather a Royal Chamberlain, a Governor of the south. The relief furthermore states that he is the “Comptroller of the Two

Granaries Unas-ankh.”

There are so many beautiful objects, which even my words fall short of giving a proper

description.

This is not something to miss, while visiting Luxor, for it gives further proof for their great creations of that ancient civilization. They should not be

thought of, as primitive.

Located further down the same path as where Luxor temple lies. It was designed by

Mahmud al-Hakim,

and the museum was opened in 1975, and has been rebuilt

through time.

In the year 1990 another section was added to the museum, which would come to hold the treasure of Luxor temple, namely the underground hall. In more modern times, an upper floor was added, giving more room for all the

findings.

This is the place, where the treasure of Luxor temple is to found today. Thousands of

A great guide book, filled with beautiful pictures and illustra-tions. This is a preferred guide book to the new comers to this

great and ancient holy land.

Because of poverty, many people cannot feed their animals, or just animals in general. This is not because they do not want to feed them or think any less of animals, but because many times one pay must cover several family members, if not all of them. This is way some people end up in a vicious circle, where the horse looks like it is almost dying, and the owner still trying to sell you a ride. But to be able to pay for food in any amount, the horse

owner must

In any country where you have unfair payments and poverty, it is clearly the animals that suffer first.. And in every country today, all around the

world, we have with our high tech society, made all animals into

beggars.
