Prom Night Safe and Sober
EHS and the Healthy Youth Coalition are asking students going to
the prom to sign a pledge that they agree to have a great prom night
without drugs or alcohol. Students that sign the pledge earn a free
tardy that can be applied to a past tardy from this grading period or if
they do not have any tardies it can be used at another time this year.
We are asking our parents and guardians to talk with their student,
encourage them to be safe and sober on prom night and to sign the
pledge.

In the U.S., roughly one-in-four adults suffer from a diagnosable mental disorder, yet less than half receive treatment. During the
month of May, we are doing Mental Health Awareness. The follow-ing activities will be after-school workshops.
If students attend three of any of the workshops they will receive a coupon to enter a drawing for $100.00 or 2 tickets to Six Flags. The
drawing is slated for 5/31.
