Put on those leg warmers, tease out your hair, or rip up your jeans and go grunge for a good cause! WIG Laos is throwing an 80s-90s themed QUIZ NIGHT!
Where: Australian Embassy Recreation Club, Thadeua Road (opposite the Singapore Embassy)
When: Saturday, June 4. Doors open at 6pm, quiz starts at 7pm
Why: To raise funds for WIG's health and education projects in Laos
Price: 500,000kip per table of 6 people. This price includes snacks, dinner platters and dessert! (Note: we are only selling tickets PER TABLE so grab five friends!)

PHOTO COMPETITION
Competition Details………..
Theme: “SCHOOL LIFE” We welcome entries from all members of the VIS community, to contribute to next year’s school calendar that reflects the theme - ‘school life’. Examples are….getting ready in the morning at home, packing the school bag, lunch boxes, homework etc.
The fourteen winning photos (front & back cover + 12 months) will be collated into a glossy colour calendar along with the photographers’ name and reflection of the image.
The 2016-2017 school year is a very special one for us - celebrating 25 years as a school.
Please send your entries to Michelle at [email protected] by Friday 27th May.
Don’t forget…competition closes….. this Friday 27th May
Photos can be of objects such as school bags, school shoes, lunch trays, school hats…or children playing, getting ready for school at home in the morning, doing homework. Let your imagination run free - anything school related, VIS or other local schools. See below for some inspiration.

TECHNOLOGY INTEGRATION FRAMEWORKS
Frameworks provide a guide for thinking, planning and evaluating technology
integration in the learning environment. Each framework brings a unique
perspective to guide discussions, inform curriculum design, assist with acquisition
decisions, frame action research and guide professional development. The decision
about which framework(s) to apply in a given situation will depend on the goal and
purpose of the process.
The IB-specific framework is “ Agency, Information and Design (AID)” accessed
via “Teaching and Learning with Technology” on the OCC under “Cross Programme
Publications”.
