The Directorate of Tea Tribes Welfare, Assam invites online applications through the link - www.sirishassam.in for the following scholarship schemes for the financial year 2021-22:- Eligibility Criteria: The applicants should: 1) be permanent residents of Assam 2) have functional bank accounts 3) have TGL/EX-TGL caste-certificate 4) submit undertaking of their parents/guardians/self stating their family income not exceeding Rs. 5.00 lakh per annum. All scholarships shall be disbursed through direct bank transfer into bank accounts of the applicants. The Common Service Centres (Arunodoy Kendras) of the Districts/Sub-Divisions has been authorized to facilitate the online application process to the Tea Tribes beneficiaries on user charge @ Rs. 40/- per application. Last date for submission of online application for all the schemes is 31 st October, 2021 Note: Applicants who had already registered and applied for any of the scholarship schemes during the year 2020-21, may use their same User ID. & Passwords and submit only their relevant promotion certificates/marksheets/admission receipts. No further documents need to be submitted. All new applicants need to first register themselves and then retain their User ID. & Passwords in safe custody for future uses. In case of loss, he/she will need to register again and create new User ID & Passwords for further applications. Simon Sing Horo Special Post-Matric Scholarship: One-time incentive @Rs. 10,000/- each to students clearing HSLC/HSSLC under SEBA/AHSEC or equivalent board/ council recognized by Government of Assam, during the current year (2021). Post-Matric Scholarship: Annual scholarship @ Rs. 5,000/- for HS students and@ Rs. 7,000/- for normal TDC (Three-year Degree Courses). Financial Assistance for Higher Studies: Financial assistance @Rs. 25,000/-, Rs. 30,000 & Rs. 35,000/- for higher studies like Medical, Engineering and other technical/higher education including Administration, Law, Research & Education both within and outside the State/Country. Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/Technical Courses: Financial Assistance for ANM/GNM/ Para-Medical and other job assured professional Degree/Diploma courses with minimum 1 (one) year duration in both Govt. and Non-Govt. Institutes.
