OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

We only use FSC® certified materials in all our prefinished doors, meaning they are sourced from well-managed FSC® certified forests and from recycled materials. The FSC® ensure that forests are kept alive for generations to come. Harvest of all their timber products maintains forests’ biodiversity, productivity and ecological processes.

Although many timber suppliers suggest their materials are from ‘sustainable’ or ‘managed’ sources, without an independent certification system, there is no way of verifying this or demonstrating the expectation levels to our clients. FSC® set higher standards than any other forest certification system, giving the best assurance that forests are being managed responsibly and giving us peace of mind that we know exactly where our materials have been sourced.

We are not just another door company. We are not like everybody else. We have worked within the door industry for more than 20 years. During this time we have established ourselves as a forward-thinking, innovative company with a mission to revolutionise the door industry. At Deanta, we have a strong set of beliefs that run through everything we do.

Unlike other UK door companies, we have our own manufacturing facility. This not only allows us to control stock supply, but it also allows us to have full control of the quality control process to ensure every door that leaves our factory is of the very highest standard.

At Deanta we manufacture and supply a wide range of beautifully crafted stylish interior doors. Our collection includes oak, walnut, dark grey ash, light grey ash, abachi and white primed doors along with a selection of FD30 fire doors.

We also manufacture a range of skirting, architrave and door lining sets in oak, walnut and white primed. These sets use the same hand-picked veneers as our doors, complementing them perfectly.

All Deanta doors are made to the highest standard with only the finest of materials ensuring you get the best from your contemporary Deanta door. Our design team tirelessly follow the door industry to come up with new, exciting designs to add to our ever-increasing collection. And our rigorous testing procedures ensure that only the very best doors make it to market.

Deanta offers the largest lippings available in the UK internal door market. All of our doors have 18mm lippings around the entire door meaning that a total of 32mm can be taken off the height and width of all our standard doors ensuring they will fit into any size opening. *

We only ever produce solid core doors that are heavy and robust and are finished with specially selected crown cut oak, walnut, dark grey ash, light grey ash and abachi veneers to give a real timber look and feel. Our white primed doors are produced in the same way as our veneered doors and are ready for a one-coat finish. All of our prefinished doors are FSC® certified.

SLIDING DOOR SYSTEMS

Our pocket door system is the perfect solution where there is not much space available, such as kitchens or bathrooms. Concealing internal sliding doors within the wall cavity has a significant impact on both usable space and perceived available space, making rooms more flexible and feeling lighter and airier.

Additionally, you can also get a double pocket door system using two pocket doors installed side by side. Designed to work in partition walls, each pocket door kit comes with a pre-assembled aluminium track and header mechanism.

Our pocket door kit is compatible with the majority of Deanta doors and includes all the hardware that you’ll need, no surprises!

In particular, the door jambs included in our pack, will provide the finishing touch that you need in order to conceal the sliding system.

Furthermore, the under door profile provided allows a stable and smooth sliding.

Our pocket door system can be upgraded with add-ons such as a soft close, a self closing kit or a bathroom lock.

We offer a limited ten year warranty on all our doors. Any Deanta door that warps* or splits will be covered by our warranty once the installation has met all guidelines. Please note colour variance in the wood is not considered a manufacturing fault as it is a natural product.

THE FOLLOWING MUST BE CARRIED OUT TO ENSURE THE BEST PERFORMANCE FROM YOUR DEANTA DOOR

All doors must be examined immediately on receipt and prior to installation as claims or faults will not be accepted once the door has been installed or altered. This excludes manufacturing faults that occur after hanging.

All doors must be measured individually when having glass fitted. Deanta doors are hand-assembled, and as such, we cannot guarantee each aperture is the exact same size. We recommend you use a qualified glass fitter.

Doors must be stored horizontally on a clean, dry, flat and level surface.

Doors must not be fitted in a house that is freshly plastered and doors should only be delivered to site after all wet trades are finished and sufficiently dried. A moisture reading taken by an engineer must be recorded.

For doors to acclimatise, they should be left in the house prior to installation for at least seven days with the ambient temperature gradually increased over this period.

Should a door require alteration, cutting or planing, it must be immediately revarnished to prevent moisture absorption which may lead to warping or splitting.

Take no more than 32mm (30mm for FD30) off the width and height of doors in equal amounts on all edges.

Planed edges of prefinished doors must be refinished using three coats of internal wood finish.

Three coats of internal wood finish are required on unfinished doors and on any modifications to a prefinished door including the ironmongery and hinge cut-outs.

We recommend the use of three sets of hinges per door.

We recommend varnish and lacquers that are suitable for interior joinery. If using oils please contact Deanta for recommended brands.

UNDER OUR WARRANTY, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO REPLACING THE DOOR AND NO LIABILTY IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS. ALTERATION OF A DEANTA DOOR WILL VOID THE WARRANTY.

* Warp/bow/cup/twist (as set out in the relevant British Standard) shall not be considered a defect unless it exceeds 1/4 inch (6.35mm) in the plane of the door itself. Warp is any distortion in the door itself and does not refer to the relationship of the door to the frame or jamb in which it is hung.
