Established in 1995 by Mr. Khalifa Abdulla Dasmal, Bin

Dasmal Doors has emerged as a leader in the supply,

installation and service for a range of automated doors,

material handling equipment and automation products in

the UAE and neighboring region.

An ISO 9001-2008 TUV certified company, it uses project

management benchmark as per PMI-US (Project

Industrial Rolling Shutter

Rolling shutters are vertical coiling metal door barriers at

the entrance or exit in a building or room. They are

insulated, single skin, and can be offered as either

fire-rated and non-fire rated. The basic design consists

of horizontal slats, side guides, bottom bar, barrel assem-

bly and hood cover. Stainless steel, regular steel or

aluminum are the available materials used for rolling

shutters. The shutters can be motorized or manually

operated.

Industrial rolling shutters are ideal to use in most types of

warehouses and factories. Fire rated doors are

warrington fire tested to BS476 & in compliance with UL

& NFPA 80 standards.

Sectional Doors

Sectional overhead doors are vertical sliding doors

made from insulated panels. The panels are made of

CFC free polyurethane foam stacked in between two

metal skins. This type of door can be installed in various

configurations, including standard lift, vertical lift or

hi-lift. The basic design consists of insulated panels,

vertical tracks, horizontal tracks and rollers. These

types of doors are manually or electrically operated.

Sectional doors are used in warehouses, cold storage

rooms and loading bays. Sectional doors are in compli-

ance with EN & ASTM standards.


Folding Doors

Folding doors are vertical and horizontal folding which

are made of insulated panels or glazed panels. They are

versatile in design, space saving and easily installed.

This door is suitable for interior and exterior installation.

The doors are pre-installed with all safety devices which

make the doors more reliable in all aspects. They are

electrically operating doors. Folding doors are a more

economical solution to the same application of sectional

doors, including warehouses, cold storage rooms and

loading bays. Folding doors are in compliance with EN

standards and bear CE mark.

Garage Doors

Garage doors are vertical sliding doors made of

insulated panels. The panels are made of CFC free

polyurethane foam stacked in between two metal skins.

This type of door can be installed as standard lift or low

lift. The basic design consists of insulated panels,

vertical tracks, horizontal tracks and rollers. They are

manually or electrically operated. Ideal for garages in

all or most types of villas. Garage doors are in compli-

ance with EN standards.

Glass Folding

Folding glass doors feature a high level of design and

finishing. They are made of various types of glass or

other materials like insulated panels or nets, double or

single glazed glass panels to suit the requirements.

They can be implemented for both industrial and

commercial purposes. They can either be side folding or

vertical folding. The folding doors are manually or electri-

cally operated. Glass folding doors are suitable for all

types of showrooms & in compliance with EN standards

and bear CE mark.

Revolving Glass Doors

Revolving glass doors provide security and climate

control at a building entrance system and form an

elegant transparent barrier. This type of door is designed

in such a way that all its mechanisms are concealed,

providing a simple and elegant appeal. These doors are

electrically operated. Primarily, Revolving glass doors are

used in shopping malls and other commercial

complexes, such as office buildings.


High Speed Doors

High speed doors are vertical coiling or vertical folding

doors. This door is compatible with interior or exterior

installations. The basic design consists of fabric curtains,

side guides and shaft assembly. High speed doors are

used in high traffic areas, food processing industries and

various environmental conditions with temperatures

below freezing point. These doors are the solution for

entrance and exit into and out of areas where the

temperature levels need to be maintained, such as

air-conditioned protected areas and temperature

variation rooms in warehouses and also our high speed

doors are in compliance with EN standards and bear CE

mark.

Commercial Rolling Shutters

Roller shutters are vertical coiling metal doors. They are

insulated, single skin polycarbonate, either fire-rated and

non-fire rated. The basic design consists of horizontal

slats, side guides, bottom bars, barrel assembly and

hood covers. Stainless steel, steel or aluminum are the

materials available for this type of door. The shutters can

be motorized or manually operated. Commercial rolling

shutters are primarily used in retail stores in shopping

malls to ensure top security during non-working hours.

Fire rated roller shutters are warrington fire tested to BS

476 : part 22 and in compliance with NFPA 80 & UL

certified.


PVC Swing Doors

PVC swing doors are used in high volume, high speed

motorized traffic. The basic design consists of door

body and hinge hardware. The tough, gravity

suspended, rubber panels flex to absorb impact,

protecting loads and equipment from damage. This

can be single skin or insulated, and is compatible with

interior and exterior installation. These doors are

suitable for loading bay areas as well.

Steel Doors

Steel doors are swing doors which are fire rated ,

non-fire rated & glazed. The basic design consists of

an outer frame, insulated panels, push bars and door

closures. These doors can be made of galvanized steel

or stainless steel and are manually operated, and

primarily used within commercial office buildings. Steel

doors are warrington fire tested to BS 476:Part 22 & UL

10 B.

Shipyard and Hanger Doors

Shipyard and hanger doors are designed for tough

environments and very large door opening areas. These

doors provide increased flexibility in design. They are

electrically operated. Shipyard doors are used in ports

and the like, whilst hanger doors are used in airports.

Blast Proof Doors

BS

Blast proof doors are heavy duty swing doors. They are

built with low, medium and high level blast characteris-

tics. This type of door is built with flexible design param-

eters to accommodate various conditions and is electri-

cally operated. The basic design includes door panels

and hinge hardware. The rigid structure of the door

makes it feasible to be installed in various environmental

conditions. To ensure the highest enclosed security,

blast proof doors are suitable for places such as bank

lockers and chemical rooms (paint or sand blast rooms

for example). Blast proof doors are in compliance with

BS 476 : Part 22 & UL 10B.

Folding Partitions

Folding partitions are openable walls that can be manu-

ally or automatically operated system with easy installa-

tion. They act as an acoustic barrier with high levels of

performance and fire retardant characteristics. The

partitions are made with design flexibilities which make

them suitable for diverse installation conditions. Folding

partitions are used primarily in study rooms or confer-

ence rooms.

Fire and Smoke Curtains

BS

Fire and smoke curtains are used to prevent the spread-

ing of fire. Curtains are designed with eminent and fail

safe design and low response time. This type of curtain is

easily installed with a high level of design flexibility.

Curtains can be easily inter-linked with other building

systems such as fire alarm systems, which can be

triggered easily. They are electrically operated and used

mainly at entrances to passenger lifts. Fire and smoke

Curtains are in compliance with BS 476 : part 22, UL 10C

& EN standards.

Automatic Road Barriers

Traffic barriers and sliding gates are perimeter security

systems which provide complete security and control

over traffic flow in various environments. The simple

design of the system makes it user friendly and easy to

install. These systems are designed with a high level of

safety features complying with international safety

standards. Barrier systems are comply with EN safety

norms.

Sliding Gates

Sliding gates are electrically operated steel structured

gates. They can be bi-parting or single parting. This type

of gate slides over the bottom rail, which is driven by an

electrical operator. The gate is supported by vertical

steel columns on both sides. Safety features like Photo

cell, warning lights, safety edge, soft – start / soft – stop

and emergency battery back-ups are integrated with the

sliding gate.

Dock Levelers

A dock leveler is a height adjustment platform used as a

bridge between the dock and the truck. This can be

hydraulically or mechanically operated. Dock levelers

are designed to deliver outstanding strength and durabil-

ity, while providing fast, easy and safe operations. These

products are used in loading bays. Dock levelers are In

compliance with EN standards & ANSI standards.

Dock Shelters

ANSI

A dock shelter is a cover that protects the space

between the door of a truck and a warehouse. The outer

rigid framing is made of wood or metal. This can either be

air inflated or non-inflated. The motorized operation

makes them more feasible for operation. The rigid frame

and improved durability can accommodate a wide

variety of trailer sizes, providing full access to the back of

a trailer. Dock shelters, similarly to dock levelers, are

used in loading bays.

Scissor Lift

Scissor lifts serve the same function as a dock leveler but

are used for greater height adjustment. These lifts are

hydraulically operated. Designed for strength and safety

with fail safe devices pre-installed, they provide more

reliability for implementation. Scissor lifts are used in

loading bays & are in compliance with EN standards.

so as to protect the health and safety of employees,

contractors, customers, the community and the environ-

ment.

We will pursue this policy through strategies and action

plans developed as part of the Bin Dasmal Doors Est.

safety program, visible management commitment and

through the individual contributions of all employees,

supported by education and training. Hazard analysis

will be conducted and risk controls put in place.

All managers, supervisors and contractors are account-

able for health and safety performance in their areas.

The Company has a Rehabilitation Policy and will help

injured persons return to normal work as soon as

possible.

All employees have a responsibility to follow legislation,

safe working procedures and work instructions and to

report hazards to their supervisors. Everyone is

expected to use their job skills and knowledge to

improve health and safety in the workplace and to look

after visitors, contractors and the general public.

The procedures and methods described in this manual

have been based on the minimum requirements for an

Installation Site in UAE. Ultimately the responsibility to

comply with any other local or relevant site installation

safety statutes lies will be incorporated as an addition

mandate at site.

Persons responsible for the installation must always

check with the local Authorities for rules, statutes, codes

and regulations that may be applicable to that site prior

to the commencement of installation activities. Any local

rules, statues, codes and regulations take precedent

over the safety instructions in this manual and must be

complied with.

Risk management planning is a mandatory requirement

to be carried out prior to any physical installation activity

commencing. This involves the identification, assess-

ment and treatment of any risk or hazard that may cause

injuries to people or damage to equipment and the

environment. Having identified a risk or hazard a written

procedure must be completed including the plan to

minimize or eliminate the risk or hazard.

The Site Inspection Checklist and the

Hazard Identification and Risk Assess-

ment Register must be completed prior

to any physical installation activities

Risk management

Risk management : Risk management

planning is a mandatory requirement

to be carried out prior to any installa-

tion activity commencing.

Risk management involves the identification, assess-

ment and treatment of any risk or hazard that may cause

injuries to people, damage to equipment or the environ-

ment. Having identified a risk or hazard a written proce-

dure must be completed including the plan to minimize

or eliminate the risk or hazard.

A risk is the likelihood of that hazard producing adverse

health and safety effects on humans, damage to equip-

ment or the environment.

The hazard analysis and risk assessment register is

completed by following the steps listed below:

Site Safety Requirments

These site safety requirements form the

minimum standards to be observed by all
