About Co-op

It is a program related work experience

Mostly paid jobs, with a Min. of 360 hours needed in order to complete each

Work Term

Jobs are generated by the Student* as well as the Co-op office

The CO-OPOffice* You are responsible for an independent job search

About Co-op (Continued)

Involves a 7 week preparation course in addition to your 6 other courses before

your first work term

Acceptance into Co-op is based on successful completion of all courses and

GPA

Co-op office is located in D103 under the career centre (Traf.) & B223 (Davis)

*Additional Requirements• Human Resources (T&D) - The minimum GPA for consideration is 3.0 plus a “B” in

Human Resource Management 1&2 (1st YR.), Recruitment & Selection, Occupational Health & Safety and Organizational Behavior (2nd YR.)*(Semester Six you have to go to Davis)

• Accounting (T&D) - The minimum GPA for consideration is 2.0, plus a “C” in: Accounting 1&2, Computer Applications 1&2, Math, Finance and Business Communications (1st YR.)*

• E-commerce (T) – The minimum GPA for consideration is 3.0 plus a “B” in Introduction to Internet Programming, Logical Database Design, Building Audiences & Communities, Internet Programming 2, Database Management, Web Analytics & Search Engine Optimization, and Rich Media

• Office Admin. Legal (D), Banking & Wealth (T), Finance (T), & Marketing (T) – The minimum GPA for consideration is 2.0.*

* A higher GPA cut off may be implemented for programs with limited space.
