The initial ENGAGE forum was held April 28th with a secondary meeting on April 29th. We had an excellent turnout. Between the two days we had about 33 pastors attend and had a great challenge related to mission and the gospel. We have some great pastors and churches who have a passionate heart for the mission of Christ and we are seeking to encourage you in our network. Brad Little, Interim Regional Director

ENGAGE # 2 – The Power of the Gospel
Purpose: to challenge our thinking related to gospel and missional critical issues and how it relates to our next steps as pastors, leaders and churches. Title: The Power of the Gospel Text: Romans 1:16-17 Theme: How do we really think about the power of the Gospel?
Do we rely too much on our own power and ability rather than the power of the gospel itself? Do we hinder it?
Do we act like we are ashamed when we fail to live by faith? How is the gospel as relevant for believers after they are saved?

Although Karen's Oncologist gave her 2 to 3 weeks on April 1st, she continues to be in the care of her children and Hospice caregivers at her home. Please continue to keep Karen and her family in your prayers.
