Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.
FOREWORDCelebrating the family during the COVID-19 Pandemic. That was a challenge, but it was also a
test of our faith in and absolute dependence on the LORD.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 spurred the team on. We prayed and the LORD heard us. Our talented and
dedicated team, armed with God’s wisdom, has successfully reached out to the Accra Ridge
Church (ARC) Community with weekly virtual presentations and question-and-answer sessions.
The LORD has been faithful during these challenging times. It appears that we have connected
with more people this year than we did last year, when events were held in person.
Family month is also about members’ professions and businesses; both provisions the LORD
makes to showcase His glory through our various gifts and acts of service; as well as to sustain
our families. Last year’s business fair, organized to support and highlight this important aspect
of family life, was very well attended and revealed the talents and business acumen that ARC
members possess. This year, holding a virtual business fair posed a novel question, to which
this initiative was our answer. “Who-Does-What @ Accra Ridge Church” goes a long way to
showcase our businesses and introduce members to talented professionals in the Church. As
our Elders say, “Adze wo fie a oye”.
I trust that this document, as well as the online version on the Church’s website, will be accessed
by most of our members and found useful by all generations in the Church. It features
professionals of all kinds who make their Church home at ARC; career opportunities for those
in need; and member-owned businesses that supply every aspect of our daily needs.
The good LORD tells us in Isaiah 41:10,”Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed: for I
am thy God: I will strengthen thee: yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my
righteousness” (KJV). We believe these words of comfort are even more true in these times of
uncertainty. Dear member, take heart and trust in the LORD. His faithfulness never fails.

Mrs. Damptey undertakes research and consulting work in environmental management, environmental impact assessment and gender issues.

There, I dealt with the Ministries of Energy, Health, Transport, Trade and Finance; The World Bank, DIFID and GTZ, on behalf of government. I pursued my LLM in Oil and Gas and set up the Energy division in the office. I completed the legal drafting course, so I am a legal draftsman.
