Partner Profile: Saunton Golf Club Calvert Trust Exmoor is proud to have been nominated as Saunton Golf Club Charity of the Year for 2013.

Local links are very important to us here at Calvert Trust Exmoor, so we are always extremely happy when a local organisation like Saunton Golf Club wants to support us and work with us to help raise funds.

Saunton Golf Club was formed in May 1897, originally as a 9 hole course, becoming 12 holes by 1906 and 18 holes in 1908. Saunton’s East Course is ranked No.32 in the Golf World "Top 100 Courses" and the West Course is No 67. There is only one Club with 2 better links courses in the whole country and that’s St Andrews!

Throughout 2013 Saunton Golf Club will be holding various events in aid of CTE, funds from which will be used to enable guests who require financial assistance to be able to have a holiday that they would otherwise be unable to afford.

Recent Visitor Comments “Just had possibly our best holiday ever, because we were all together and able to completely relax. Monday to Friday was way too short, so we are already planning to return. We couldn't have met a nicer group of people, guests and staff. The food was gorgeous, the accommodation spotless and comfortable, and the activities, well, I didn't imagine myself doing half of what we did but we loved every minute.” Sarah Davies

“Thank you so much to everybody for making this an experience to remember!! Everyone was so kind, helpful and supportive. Many thanks” Freddie, Henry & the Spink Team!

“The staff went out of their way to help the students to feel safe, confident and understood, They were also prepared to adapt the sessions as they proceeded according to the children's needs. They gave each student time to succeed on the activities, they even produced individual, personalised certificates for the students.” Oaklands Park School
