Stephen Ministry Returns to Calvary in 2019... Rick Middleton will be coordinating a new group of Stephen Ministers here at Calvary. He is looking for interested persons who would like to participate in this wonderful ministry. Rick can be reached at [email protected] if you have any questions. The Stephen Ministry’s motto is “Christ Caring for People through People”. Stephen Ministers: Bring Christ’s care to others: They trust God to bring

about the healing and wholeness that God promises and value prayer as essential to their care-giving.

Meet ongoing needs: A Stephen Minister can provide consistent, ongoing care and support for as long as the person needs it.

Follow Jesus into service: God gives all Christians spiritual gifts and calls everyone to follow Jesus.

Compliment the care offered by Pastors: Stephen Ministry organizes and equips gifted laypeople to multiply the care pastors can provide. Pastors enjoy a gratifying ministry partnership with Stephen Leaders and Stephen Ministers and know they don’t have to do all the ministry alone. This gives pastor the freedom to focus their time where their care is needed the most.
