About 100,000 Harley riders from around the globe joined in the festivities. The Harley community is a unique world, where one percent is considered outlaws, and 99 percent of us just like to ride motorcycles and have a good time. The museum has been in the works for more than 20 years, though you could say it has been in the works since 1903, when the far sighted owners of The Motor Company started pulling one bike of each model from the production line and

starting storing them in a warehouse on the west side of Milwaukee. They even went to the point of locating previously sold bikes, and placing them in the warehouse as well, in an attempt to capture the complete production history of the company.

Visiting the Harley-Davidson Museumstreet, you will see the black and orange industrial buildings of the Harley-Davidson Museum. All the parking is free at the museum, but as you get closer to the large blocky buildings you are faced with a sign "No Cages Allowed." Only motorcycles get to park near the front doors, cars are forced farther away, but not so bad that its not walkable.

The doors to the museum itself are tall and opaque, the handles no more than a folded piece of metal running around their entire height. Through these doors is a large lobby, with the ticket kiosk to the right, we saw a 110th display under some stairs leading up on the left. A staff person was theretodirectuswhereweneededtogonext, and encourage us to start upstairs once we had purchased our tickets.

Leaving this large area, the last area of the museum is dominated by a huge screen, showing roads and landscape moving past. In front of the screen a dozen new motorcycles sit bolted to thefloorwhereyoucansitonthemandimagineyourself on those roads playing past on the screen. As you leave this room, a massive guest book with several pens wait before you re-enter the lobby you firstcamein.

Back outside on the grounds is the famous Motor Bar & Restaurant. We walked through the doors and entered into a bar done completely in Harley-Davidson motif. I like the feel and look. As wemovedtothebartheveryfirstthingInoticeis that the barstools weigh about as much as my Road King Classic. After I got settled, now came the real challenge; what kind of beer am I going to order? The pretty and friendly waitress offered us up a few taste samplers. I opt for the Motor Oil (what else) from The Lakefront Brewery. If you are really into beer you can join the Motor Mug Club by purchasing a Mug in the museum shop. Lets face it, this is Harley and they are marketing masters. After perusing the menu, we all decided on the classic Softail Burger, which was also delicious. From a price standpoint it is a bit on the high

side, but it is important to remember that oneyou are in metro Milwaukee and two it is after all Harley-Davidson. Since I am a museum member I received a 10% discount.

Overall, the Harley museum is a VERY cool

All we ask is for a link to our site from the group or charity site.

Why? Because all of us that work at Belt Drive Betty Media Ltd, are riders and we believe in paying it forward.

You can buy a subscription to our weekly E-Newspaper or join our Canadian Riders Support Network and get it free.

You can also get free subscriptions at many of the rides and rallies we sponsor like the Motorcycle Ride for Dad.

And another way to get a free subscription is

when we sponsor your riding club or rights group like we do with B.C.C.O.M. and R.A.G.E.

As our newspaper and web sites become larger and busier, we need more advertisers to work with us to support the costs. When your group or riding club sends businesses our way to become members of our Rider Friendly Business Association, we give your group or association 25% of the membership fee paid by the business.

This is the fee we would normally pay to a sales representative.

This way the business is not only sponsoring and supporting the riders from your organization but all riders connected to us! They get recognition and support on the local level and from riders passing through or visiting your community. Its win-win for everyone!

My name Is Jeff Fendelet and I reside in the hamletofLacoryAlbertawhereIworkasanoilfieldconsultant.

l originally purchased this bike from a good friend in Grande Prairie Alberta who had the bike built for him in 2005 from Un limited Choppers out of Beaver lodge Albe1ta .The bike was originally built with a "no disco" theme .It was plain black and all aluminum ......nothing fancy. Once I got my hands on it in 2012 I felt it could use some "disco"I stripped it down to bare bones and started by custom cutting new front and back fenders, then fabricated a whole new seat pan and assembly, changed out all the controls and added all sorts of new j ewelry to give the bike a whole new look/re-creation . The bike was originally built as a rigid, but converted to a softail. I decided to have the seat covered with alligator and stingray pelt which was put on by a saddle smith InBonnyville, thefirsttownsouthofLacory.Isentthefenders, tank and headlight to a buddy of mine Adam out of Drayton Valley who owns an airbrush studio called Paint druid. After the two of us tossed a few Idea's around and played with it a little we came

up with a pretty cool end result and named it the NIGHTCRAWLER, to which was Inspired by a Judas Priest song.

Parts/Specs as follows, Front end: 2" Inverted black chrome forks with

a 52 degree rake. (American Suspension) Frame: (BDL)

Engine: (Merch FATSO) Engine size: 114 ci Horsepower: l 00 plus

Transmission c/w open 2.5" primary drive (BDL) Back tire: 200mm (Chain driven)

Handle bars ,seat, tank and fenders: (Custom)Exhaust:(Custom)

Over all the bike measures a little over nine feet long and it rides as good as it looks. She's rank and she ain 't a trailer queen!

    Appraisal Value Is $67,500.00

Golfers who try to make everything perfect before taking the shot rarely make a perfect shot.

An interesting thing about Golf is that no matter how badly you play, it is always possible to get worse.

It has been a long time since Ive heard anyone make a disparaging remark about my harley shirts, unless it is to ask Wheres THIS one from?? Or to remark on the often unusual design. Most people in my small town know I ride & most know I have a love for harley shirts..especially those from far-off places that Ill quite likely never see.

So when the fellow gestured towards me & asked if I actually had a bike to go with the tshirt , had I even been there...no? why wear it then? I have to admit to being surprised. Cant say as Id have ever thought to ask that of a guy wearing a logo shirt if he had the logo item.. but I guess its a fair question... Its rather simple, really.

I ride a harley.I ride a harley because I Choose to.I like the history, the look, the brotherhood.I am Very partial to the sound & I especially love

how riding this particular bike makes me feelAnd thats all there is to it. ReallyIm not always a bitch, but I have ridden bitch.I Can, however, be a bitch with absolute Flair, if I

so choose to be...Im not a dyke-on-a-bike or any other derogatory

label, although I have been passionately kissed by another woman.

Im simply a woman who owns a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A softail, as a matter of fact.Because we suit each other.

Im a woman who has done many things without a motorcycle & one who will do many more things with one...

As a rule, I clean up & polish up my bike when I am done because I personally like the look of a clean bike. I do not care if you do or not.

None of that changes who I am, or what I do.We are none of us who we are because of our

profession, our family, our labels. We are only who we are by what we Dream we

can be & what we make ourselves into.

Im not necessarily a Poser, A Rub, A Follower or a Loner, although I am sure I have been all of them at one time or other.

I will always be a Wannabe, simply because I wannabe a better rider.

I am not a 1%er, an Iron Butt Rider or a Seasoned Biker.

Nor am I in the habit of hanging out in bars or with loud & large groups of rowdy bike gangs, although the summer ralliesIattendfitthatbillperfectly, & I thoroughly enjoy it.

I ride by myself or with a select few, & sometimes, more are welcome.

    Just ask.And really, what

difference does it make that I am a single rider?

I wear leather to protect myself from the road & weather.

I also wear leather because I happen to like how it feels against my skin.

I wear Harley shirts because I Have a harley & dont care if you think I should have been where the shirts are from to wear them.

Chances are pretty good, Ill not be going to Saudi Arabia or Kabul...

I am grateful for all my out of area shirts. New & used.

That also makes me no better or worse than anyone else... just different.

I have made changes to my bike to suit me; nobody else.IwillcontinuetomakechangesasIseefit.Or

Amazing Ride for MS 2 Continents, 1 Mission, END MS

Did you know ... Canadians have one of the highest rates of

Multiple Sclerosis in the world. MS is the most common neurological disease

affecting young adults in Canada. Every day, three more people in Canada are

diagnosed with MS Women are more than three times as likely

to develop MS as men. MS can cause loss of balance, impaired

speech, extreme fatigue. double vision and paralysis.

MS was first identified and described by a French neurologist, Dr. Jean-Martin Charcot, in 1868.

We don't know what causes MS but researchers are closer to finding the answer.

From MS Society of Canada web site

The Ride My name is Garry Kramer. I will be leaving Edmonton, Alberta in September 2014 on a 22,000 km motorcycle ride to Ushuaia, Argentina. This trip will take me approximately 4 months to complete. I will traverse through 16 countries. Donations for the trip and to the MS Society of Canada can be made through my blog site, www.AmazingRideforMS.ca My blog site will track me through the planning and execution stages of the ride. While on the ride, you will be able to track me on a map page that will be updated every 10 minutes. You will also be able to make comments and posts on the blog, and I will be able respond to them as I ride south. The motorcycle will be a single cylinder Kawasaki KLR650. I rode this motorcycle to Deadhorse, Alaska in 2013 and all over Alberta. It is a good workhorse of a bike. You may ask why I am doing this. My wife Esther was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2006. I want to help eradicate MS forever. The only way to accomplish this is through research. I want to raise money for the MS Society of Canada and also raise awareness about this debilitating disease.

    Please Donate at www.AmazingRideforMS.ca

We are also looking for sponsors for this worthwhile cause please contact.

Edmonton Alberta to the Southern Tip of South America Multiple sclerosis is a complex disease. While it is most often diagnosed in young adults, aged 15 to 40, we know that it affects children, some as young as two years old. The impact is felt by family, friends and by the community. MS is unpredictable, affecting vision, hearing, memory, balance and mobility. Its effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime. There is no cure. The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is here to help. No one needs to face MS alone. In communities across Canada, our volunteers and staff provide information, support, educational events and other resources for people with MS and their families. Researchers funded by the MS Society are working to develop new and better treatments. Their ultimate goal is the cure for MS.

and working on the back-end getting the word out to everyone about what needs to be done.

This side of R.A.G.E. is what now keeps the ball rolling through memberships, building the war chest, communications, so the riding community of Saskatchewan will always have a UNITED voiceso we stay strong.

This is the Board, Area Rep, and Committee side of R.A.G.E. This is how we serve our members.

We do this through political change, charitable events, and public education.

Area Reps are the go-to person in your area for help with things that are happening in your own backyard. They help YOU organize YOUR voice. They dont do it for youthey help YOU in your own backyard. They also help answer any question

you may have regarding R.A.G.E. and are there for any feedback you may have. It is our goal to have Area Reps in every MLA riding in the province of Saskatchewan. This way they will get to know their MLA and be able to work closely for the needs of the riding community in their own backyard.

Thanks to this group there are a lot of R.A.G.E. members and supporters sporting R.A.G.E. t-shirts and hoodies.

This side of R.A.G.E. also organizes the annual Awareness Run (May 18) and Show and Shine (August 24).

R.A.G.E. strategyThis side worked night and day in 2013 pulling

all the data available from around the world and creating a solid Counter Proposal for YOU based onrealfactsandfigures.Thisistheteamthatis currently working on the 2014 Rate Review Proposal.

This is the team that creates the R.A.G.E. Action Plans for all the members, supporters and riding community to follow.

This is the side of R.A.G.E. that continues to this

day to work tirelessly with SGI, watching what is happening, making sure the motorcycle community (YOU) gets information, which keeps us ready to lobby at a moments notice

When there is no Rate Review, or if they are not needed by Area Reps, this is the quiet side of R.A.G.E.

At times you may not hear from them, but they are always watching, researching, working with SGI.

This is the team that will, as we grow, begin polling members and supporters for feedback in areas where information is needed to provide solutions that are long-term.

For the 2014 Rate Review Proposal this team is continuing the work started in 2013. There were solutions in the 2013 R.A.G.E. Rate Review Rebuttal (our presentation in Saskatoon) that SGI has chosen to be hard of hearing with. These solutions involve implementing long-term changes that shape driver behavior and put an end to the cycle of continuous rate increases year after year.

The Motorcycle Review Committee recommendations were formed with a large part from the initial R.A.G.E. Rate Review Rebuttal which the many voices of the riding community used when getting their own voices heard and counted in the Rate Review process.

R.A.G.E. Paid membersMembership is open to anyone who has an

interest actively lobbying for the rights of those who plate / license motorcycles in Saskatchewan. This may involve, but is not limited to:

following R.A.G.E. Strategic Plans and Calls To Action developed by the Strategic Team

actively taking part in R.A.G.E. surveys and polls developed by the Strategic Team for the purpose of developing a Strategic Plan for R.A.G.E.

activelycontactingthosewhoareidentifiedin the Strategic Plans and Calls to Action by email, phone, letter writing, signing petitions

demonstrating on behalf of R.A.G.E. fundraising on behalf of R.A.G.E.

attending R.A.G.E. events whenever possible. These events will be around fundraising for R.A.G.E., demonstrating, and information meetings for the purpose of keeping members informed on the activities of R.A.G.E.

letting everyone you know who owns a motorcycle about R.A.G.E. and what is happening. Letting them know when they

need to take action being an active voice for your rights promoting R.A.G.E. and supporting other

members, supporters and sponsors of R.A.G.E. in a positive manner

A lobby grouplikeR.A.G.E.hasanextracomponentformembers which is actively using their own voices to stand-up and be heard and counted in the various political processes here in Saskatchewan. This can be anything from the SGI Rate Review, to Noise Bylaws, toextremelyhazardousroadconditionsthat are being ignored by the municipality. Really, anything concerning issues affecting the motorcycle community in Saskatchewan.

Being that we are a lobby group we also recognize that many will not want to be actual paid members. These people make up are vast and strong supporters all across Saskatchewan. YOU DO NOT have to be a member or R.A.G.E. to use our message and get YOUR voice counted.

My friend was down this weekend. As we waited in my garage for a young gentleman to look at Mrs. Monkey old bike he asked this and that about my bikes. I told him about my plans for the missuss new HondaMatic, how it worked, how it would look when it was done. I talked endlessly about the RoadKingexplaininghowthepartsfittogether, whatmy hopes and dreams would be for the bike when it wasfinished.WetalkedaboutSnowWhiteandhowmuch I was looking forward to getting her back on

the road in the upcoming weeks. Must be nice. It does make me stand a little

taller that Ive reach a point in my life where I can afford (barely) to have several projects on the go andexpensivebikesinmystable.Noteveryoneisso lucky. Not everyone realizes that it is not always easy. Bikes are a passion, an addiction and like mostaddictswefindawaytopayforit.Iwouldloveto head down to Daytona each year but that money can and does get spent on parts and paint. We reuse, repurpose what we can like the RoadKings smashed front fender that is now the rear fender on the HondaMatic. We build old IronHeads not only because they are cool but because they are cheap to buy. We could turn our talents loose on brand new bikes and maybe one day we will but for us it is the

    nextfix,thenextbike,thenextpart.

I pointed out to my friend just how much he had droppedonfourbrandnewskidoos, hisluxuryfifthwheel trailer and the Mega-cab diesel he bought to pull it all. So while he could afford to have the bike he wants he just hasnt made the commitment to buying it. We all have hobbies - some just cost more than others.

The banquet was about to begin when the master of ceremonies was informed that the clergyman invited to give the blessing

was unable to attend. He asked the main speaker if he would

oblige, and the man agreed. He began, There is no clergyman present,

    let us thank God.
