The Daytona

Blue Flame

Welcome to the World of Blue Flame

From 1920 to 1933, the United States of America ratified the Eighteenth Amendment, which provided a constitutional ban on the production and sale of alcoholic beverages.

During this time, individuals took it upon themselves to brew a homemade moonshine and distribute it to the public. Old folk moonshiners tested the quality of moonshine by

pouring a small quantity into a spoon and setting it on fire. Tainted moonshine would burn yellow, but a safe consumable moonshine would burn blue, producing a blue flame.

At Blue Flame, we honor the roots of Prohibition by offering a selection of moonshines throughout the menu. From cocktails, to throwing back shots and

chasing it back with a beer, the eternal Blue Flame burns.
