complete the KILLER BLOOMS lab• Read current HABs news article• Complete pre-lab questions using prior knowledge• Review Algae & HABs pamphlet and answer

follow up questions • Set up and complete lab• Use knowledge gained from lab to analyze and

make predictions of future HABs using RTD.

THE PLAN…• AP Environmental & GMO students will

present information to Chemistry classes.

• ENTER CHEMISTRY… • Chemistry classes will repeat experiment

and will focus on the relationship between nitrate consumption and algal growth
