BARRIER REMOVAL STRATEGIES
Strict implementation of fishery laws and ordinances
Improve governance of marine sanctuary management bodies
Allocate funds for infrastructure needs like guard houses, patrol boats and fuel, other equipment
Design effective IEC billboards, signages
Provide incentives to law-abiding fishers such as alternative livelihoods such as fish caging
