All our private rooms enjoy an abundance of natural daylight, high ceilings and beautiful antiques. Your event will be tailor-made to your specific requirements, with special attention being given to the small details that make a difference.

H I S T O R I C A L F A C T : In 1886, Theodore Roosevelt stayed at the hotel before his marriage to Edith Kermit Carow, which took place at St George’s in Hanover Square. A copy of the marriage certificate still hangs in the hotel today and on it one can see that the occupation of the future President of the United States is given simply as – ranchman. The Roosevelt Room on the first floor of Brown’s Hotel is named after this great guest.

The Niagara Room has been home to many high-profile parties through the years. Connected to the Roosevelt Room, it is the ideal location for receptions of up to 120 guests. For an even more romantic backdrop, The Clarendon Room is lined with delicate hand painted wallpaper featuring words from the poem ‘A way through the woods’ by Rudyard Kipling.
