Krakow Book Fair, which has been organized for many years,has grown to be one of the most important book publishing industry events, having acquired international status and drawing60,000 guests every year. In the meantime, the InternationalDental Fair KRAKDENT® has been transformed within just a few years from a small local affair to the most importantspring event in Central and Eastern Europe. The company isnow the third largest organizer of trade fairs and congresses inPoland, and last year it has also became the owner and exclusive operator of EXPO Krakow – the largest exhibition andcongress centre in the south of Poland.

Krakow has been for years one of the most important destinationsfor business tourism in Poland. Multifuncionalexhibition centreWith the appearance of the International Exhibition and Con-vention Centre EXPO Krakow, the entire Małopolska region hasgrown in importance. The multifunctional centre is the largestfacility in the south of Poland, designed with business focustrade fairs, purpose-organized business events and congres-ses in mind. This is the only place where you can organizebusiness meetings for 4,000 participants, with a large exhibi-tion area, many seminar halls and a large car park to accom-modate all. The centre has helped Targi w Krakowie to becomethe most important trade fair and congress organizing facility in Central and Eastern Europe.

The International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Krakowis made available to external companies. The centre can accommodate not only conferences and trade fairs but alsobusiness meetings and training sessions.The variety of eventsheld in the centre contributes to a broad range of services thatincludes full logistic and content-related assistance in the organization and implementation of events (trade fair equipmentfurnishing, catering, hotel reservations etc.).

Trade fair and congressknow-how

Krakow Book Fair is the largest literary event in Poland andKrakow’s signature literary event. It has become a sphere forthe promotion of good books, a meeting place for the ex-change of thoughts and discussions. Among the exhibitors arepublishing houses, book warehouses, bookshops, cultural in-stitutions and associations linked with the publishing marketin Poland, distributors of electronic publications, print housesand paper producers. The trade fair promotes readership as itis open to the general public. It involves workshops, dedicateddiscussion panels and meetings with authors. Besides, it is anopportunity to settle some of the most distinguished Polish lit-erary competitions, such as the Jan Długosz Award. In 2014690 exhibitors from 20 countries attended the fair.

In March of every year Krakow hosts an international dentalsector event. KRAKDENT® is visited by more than then thou-sand dental specialists, not only from all over Poland but alsofrom Ukraine, Russia, Germany, the Czech Republic and Slo-vakia. HORECA/GASTROFOOD/ENOEXPO® – The HORECA In-ternational Trade Fair of Hotel and Catering Equipment , the-GASTROFOOD Food and Drinks for Catering Trade Fair andENOEXPO International Wine Trade Fair are the largest au-tumn trade fairs in the HoReCa sector in Poland. Almost300 Polish and international visitors meet in Krakow everyyear for the event. The fair presents furnishings and equip-ment for restaurants, bars, cafes, confectionaries, caterers,pizzerias, hotels and other places of accommodation, aswell as foodstuffs and beverages for gastronomy and winesfrom all over the world.
