INTRODUCTION
This guide demonstrates how to replace the fret buttons on a
Rock Band Beatles Hofner Bass.

Step 1 Fret Buttons
Flip the guitar onto its backside, sothat the strummer is facing
the tableand the battery compartment isfacing you.
Use a J1 Phillips head screwdriverto remove ten 5mm short
screws.
Use a J1 Phillips head screwdriverto remove four 5mm long
screws.
Step 2
Flip the guitar to the front, with thestrummer and fret buttons
facingyou.
Use a J1 Phillips head screwdriverto remove two 10mm silver,
shortscrews.

Step 3
Flip the guitar on its back again, so that the strummer is
facing down and the battery compartmentis facing you.
Pull off the back whole panel so that the guitar is now
open.
Step 4
Using a J1 Phillips screwdriver,unscrew the 10mm screw at
thebase of the neck.

Step 5
Remove the head of the guitar, atthe top of the neck. Do this
bysimply pulling on it, it should slide offout fairly easily.
Step 6
Use a J1 Phillips screwdriver toremove three silver 10mm screws
atthe top of the neck.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse
order.
Step 7
Pop off the red button at the top byprying.
Use a J1 Phillips screwdriver toremove the 10mm
screwunderneath.
Step 8
Remove the 10mm screw on the fret buttons with a J1 Phillips
screwdriver.
Remove the fret buttons.
