A s a native Venetian and director of the Save Venice Fondation, I share the fundamental belief that the future lies in the past. Since assuming the role of Chair & Ceo for my family’s hotel legacy in 1997, it has been my commitment to invest significant funds, countless hours, and personal care in the details, growth, preservation and revitalization of THE BAUERs properties to bring our guests a unique and diverse experience in the heart of the most beautiful city of the world.

GARDENSTHE GARDENS OF WONDER at PALLADIO HOTEL Located on the Island of Giudecca, just across from Saint Mark’s Square, Palladio and Villa F have one of the most beautiful and unique gardens in all of Venice. A careful restoration overlooked by the knowledgeable experience and personal taste of Francesca Bortolotto Possati,brought the land back to life. These are now some of Venice’s most splendid gardens, embellished by gazebos covered with climbing rose bushes, surrounded by hundreds of hydrangeas, furnished with tasteful retro chaise longues for the comfort of house guests.

The Palladio completes the Bauer’s portfolio, offering guests a peaceful and tranquil retreat with the luxury of 3 acres of century-old gardens, just a few minutes away from the city center. Private shuttle connects 12h a day.

IL PALAZZO, a 5-star luxury hotel, is an authentic residence dating back to the XVIII century. Its go-thic style gives guests the chance to savour the Venetian noble famieles life during the 1700’s. Guests privacy is enshrined between period fur-nishings antique tapestries.
