The battle of Lexington and Concord started the Revolutionary War. It was fought in Massachusetts, in April 19, 1775. It started when 400 British troops were given the order to capture and destroy Colonists’ muskets and swords. They went to Lexington and were met by 77 angry Colonists. No one knows who fired the first shot. Personally, I think that the Rebels fired the first shot.
