The AimThe aim is to make the can stand on the rim by itself.

Materials100ml of water2 soft drink cansA secret friend

MethodPour your 100ml of water into one of the soft drink cansThen get your secret friend Let them try and balance the can that does not have water in it on the rimNow you try but with the can that has water in itWatch it balance and it will not fall over

ResultI saw that the can did not fall over and as long as I waited it will still balance unlike the other can.

ConclusionIt kept on balancing because the centre of gravity moved from the middle onto a tilt. So it is directly above the point it has been balanced on.

ChallengeI tried a lot of items for instance a pen, tooth picks, glasses, stamps and cups, but it did not work.
