The Gulf Business Industry Awards cover a wide spectrum of economic sectors, from energy to real estate.

In each sector, a company and Business Leader of the Year will be awarded. One business leader from this group will be selected for the prestigious accolade of Gulf Business Business Leader of the Year.

In 2015 we are also looking to recognise the efforts of start-ups and smaller businesses with the SME Businessof the Year Award.

Each year, the Gulf Business Industry Awards welcomes regional business ambassadors at the highest possible level. From Business Leader's and high-ranking government executives, to top-level strategists and ground-breaking entrepreneurs, the typical profile of our guests is 35-years-plus, with a mid-to-top income bracket and high disposable income.

Professionally, GBIA attendees are at the top of their game. Not only do they drive the corporate agenda, they also drive the national agenda. Our audience is comprised of eminent business people that have helped to raise the Gulf's profile, both regionally and internationally.

These new categories will be open for nominations from May. There will be an individual marketing campaign, calling for consumers and business owners to nominate the 'stand-out' SME's and green/sustainable companies here in the UAE. The nominations will be judged based on their performance in the marketplace.
