ETHOS
Using their passion and curiosity for the Arts, stu-
dents at Greenwood College are provided with
unique opportunities for expression and discovery
of themselves and diverse cultures. Through the
Arts, students become confident, creative and re-
spectful community members and leaders.
THE ROLE OF THE ARTS
Arts plays a significant role in society contributing to its iden-
tity and reflecting its cultural heritage. At Greenwood the
Arts seeks to:
1. Institute positive change
2. Speak in a universal uniting language
3. Challenge perceptions
4. Educate, influence and entertain
5. Reflect and celebrate our culture and that of others
ARTS CURRICULUM
The Arts @ Greenwood College has an integrated ap-
proach to the delivery of the West Australian Curriculum.
Underpinned by a cross-curricular focus on documentation,
methodology and behaviour management, the Arts deliver
a comprehensive education in an environment conducive
to creative thought and innovative workshop practices. The
benefits of this approach include high calibre performance
initiatives, enhanced student learning processes and clear
pathways to careers in the post-school Arts industry.

The Arts @ Greenwood College provide students with a comprehensive range
of performance opportunities in which to excel and realise their talents.

The Arts are also showcased during assemblies, sports carnivals, in pop-up
lunchtime performances and as a reflection of the cultural identity of the school
to visiting dignitaries.
