The Art of Physics 27 Maggio – 21 Giugno, 2019 SMFI Università degli Studi di Parma This four-week course, offered in English by the Department of Physics at Boston College (USA) and Dipartimento di Scienze Matematiche, Fisiche e Informatiche at the University of Parma, is a unique blend of classical physics topics and early history of science. The main goal is to present the ethos, historical context, and some accessible yet powerful tools of physics. The course will also discuss physics approaches to art and will endeavor to foster an appreciation of the connections between diverse disciplines within the liberal arts.
