The Amadeus Environmental Management System (EMS) The tool to measure and manage our environmental impact amadeus.com The EMS monitors Amadeus environmental data since 2009 and has been recognized by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index with the maximum score (100 points) as a solid methodology. The EMS helps us to identify and implement measures to improve environmental performance. * The methodology to measure waste has improved over time. This means that in 2016 we broaden the scope of measurement, resulting in an increase of waste reported in the EMS, even if in reality this is mainly an effect of the improvement of the measurement accuracy. * A transaction processed by the Data Centre is becoming more complex and involves more data, demanding increasing amounts of processing power.
