Sophism is specially made mistake in solving a problem or calculating. To solve sophism means to find out a mistake.

a² - b² = ( а – b ) ( a +b)
Let’s take a = b
Then a ( a – a) = ( a - a ) (a + a )Let’s simplify the equation - divide it by( a – a)We get a = a + aOr a = 2a
