Dear Parents Season‟s Greetings! The second term witnessed a lot of activities along with
academic rigour with an aim to prepare our children to
be global citizens with requisite skills and competencies
that give them an edge over others. It is my pleasure to
roll out a report with the highlights of the Second term.
“The quality of the relationships that students have in
the class with their peers and teachers is important to
their success in school”.
Functions & Celebrations:
1. Gandhi Ji &Shastri Ji Jayani: A special
assembly was conducted on 2nd
October to
celebrate 150th
birth anniversary of Mahatma
Gandhi along with 115th
birth anniversary of our
second Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri.
School Principal and Headmistress paid floral
tribute to Gandhiji and Shastriji. Devotional
songs were presented by the school choir group.
Speeches in Hindi and English were delivered
highlighting the life achievements and values
from their lives. A quiz based on life of their life
was also conducted. A musical skit by a group
of middle students on „the long term ill effects
of plastic‟ was presented to create awareness
among students and local residents. Awareness
rally to support and promote „Swachchhta Hi
Seva Campaign was also organized. On this
occasion school campus was thoroughly cleaned
by students and their teachers. Various inter
house competitions like Poster making, Collage,
and fancy dress were held on this sacred
occasion.
2. KG to II Sports Meet: Physical activities are
necessary for the overall development of the
children. The spirit of friendly competition
comes alive on Kindergarten‟s Sports Day. This
was held on 11 October 2019 to check physical
strength and mental alertness of the tiny tots.
The children of KG to class 2 participated in a
wide range of sports events. Heats and trials for
KG kids started many days before; all children
got the equal chances to participate at least in
two events. On being selected in the finals of
events, they represented themselves in front of
their parents on the Sports Day. They enjoyed
the day with great fun and cheer. Winners made
their parents and teachers feel proud with their
achievements. School Principal Mrs.
Priyadarshini Chauhan congratulated all the
winners and encouraged others to try their best
next time.

3. Children’s Day: This year Children‟s day was
celebrated with great fervour and joy. This day
marks the birthdays of two eminent personalities
and visionaries of our country. One is our first
Prime Minister, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and the
other, Shri Aditya Vikram Birla, the Founder
Chairman of Aditya Birla Group.
On this occasion, a special assembly was
conducted by the school staff. The assembly
started with the garlanding and floral tribute to
Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru and Shri Aditya Vikram
Birla Ji by School Principal, Mrs. Priyadarshini
Chauhan and Head Mistress, Ms. Arshiya
Rehman. The choir of teachers sang a melodious
song for the children. Thought, news and GK
quiz were also presented by them.
Our Sanskrit teacher, Dr. Dharmendra Sharma
delivered a speech highlighting the personal
traits and achievements of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru
and Shri Aditya Vikram Birla Ji. Students were
ecstatic on hearing the inspiring poetry recital
from Hindi teacher, Mrs. Anita Khandelwal.
4. Alumni Meet: The IVth Alumni Meet was held
on 14 Nov 2020 which commenced with the
divine lamp lighting by the old students in the
gracious presence of our learned Principal and
Head Mistress. Afterwards, the group of alumni
was taken to show round the school and then
they assembled in the Treasure Chest where
they were enchanted on seeing the beautiful
display of creative art and craft masterpieces of
budding artists and painters.They also had an
interaction session with the students of classes
XI&XII in which they recalled their old
memories and precious moments spent during their
school life. They shared their academic and
professional experiences with the students and
guided them how to become successful and
responsible individuals with their valuable tips and
ideas.
5. ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION: Our
school celebrated its Annual Day,
“ALANKRITI” on the theme of NAVRAS in
Rajashree Birla Auditorium for two days from
26 November 2019 to 27 November 2019. Mr.
SukharamPindel, SDM Bhopalgarh graced the
function as Chief Guest. 370 children
showcased their talent through vivacious and
colourful presentations. The Chief Guest
adorned the academic and sports achievers with
certificates and trophies.
6. Christmas Day: Christmas is the festival which
inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Soaking
in the spirit of Christmas, tiny tots of K.G.
section celebrated the festival with enthusiasm
on 23 December 2019. The students sang
melodious carols and on the stage of assembly a
tableau was created showing the birth of Lord
Jesus Christ. The significance of the festival was
explained to the students through the Christmas
story. One of the students was dressed as Santa
Claus and distributed chocolates among the
students.
7. Lohri:Lohri, the festival of North India was
celebrated in our school on 13 Jan 2020. School
Headmistress, Ms. Arshiya Rehman extended
her best wishes to all children and students. A
special talk highlighting the importance of Lohri
was delivered by Ms. BhoomikaGoyal of class
IX. A special festive flavour was added to this
celebration by KG students with their highly
energetic dance performance.
8. Republic Day: 71st Republic Day was
celebrated with great fervour and patriotism in
the playground of our school on 26 Jan 2020.
The Chief Guest of the function, Mr.
MukulRajvanshi, Deputy Chief Inspector of
Factories and Boilers, Govt. of Rajasthan,
Jodhpur unfurled the national flag, inspected the
parade and received the salute. A spectacular
parade featuring marching contingents of Birla
White Security platoon and ABPS students was
the main attraction of the celebration. In his
address to the audience, the Chief Guest spoke
about the importance of Indian Republic and
shared our country‟s achievements in all walks
of life.
Mr. Mahendra Kumar Mishra, Joint Executive
President & Plant Head, Unit Birla White, also
delivered a speech highlighting the
achievements and active contribution of Unit
Birla white.
On this occasion, a colourful and vibrant
cultural programme based on „National
Integration‟ was presented by the ABPS
students.
Master PriyanshuVaishnav and Master
UtsavMundra of class XII batch 2018-19 were
awarded with CBSE Merit Certificate by the
honourable Chief Guest for securing 100
percent marks in Informatics Practices in their
Board Exams.
9. Annual Athletic Meet: This year‟s Annual
Athletic Meet was held on 27 Jan 2020. School
Principal, Mrs. Priyadarshini Chauhan declared
the meet open and made the athletes swear an
oath of sportsmanship. Nearly 30 track and field
events were conducted. All participating athletes
displayed their strength, vigour, stamina, skills
and mental fitness in the different races.
Winners were decorated with medals and
certificates. Master Aryan Prajapat of class VIII
from Mewar House won the Best Athlete
Trophy in the boys‟ category whereas the Best
Athlete Trophy in girls‟ category was shared by
Ms. Sonia Dudi of class IX of Jodhana House
and Ms. Khushi Chaudhary of class VIII of
Marwar House.
Jodhana House won the Annual Athletic Trophy
of the year with 101 points and the Runners up
trophy went to Marwar House with 85 points.
To conclude the Annual Athletic Meet the
school Principal congratulated the winners and
declared it closed.
10. BasantPanchmiCelebration:“BasantPanchmi”
is an occasion which marks the advent of the
spring season and is also celebrated to worship
mother Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge
and wisdom. This day was celebrated in our
school with great fervour and enthusiasm on 29
Jan 2020. The whole school assembled
together to pray and obtain blessings from
Goddess Saraswati the Goddess of knowledge.
The pooja started with a beautiful
SaraswatiVandana and after that Prasad was
distributed among the children. The children
enjoyed the day, enlightened by the blessings
of MaaSaraswati.
11. Prize Day Celebration: Our school
acknowledged and awarded the students for
their continual saga of glorious achievements in
Inter-House Competitions held during session
2019-20 on School‟s Prize Day organized on 12
February 2020 in Rajashree Birla Auditorium.
Mrs. Kalapana Nigam, Mrs. Savitri Mishra and
Mrs. Shikha Kedia were the distinguished
guests on this occasion. Shekhawati House won
the Literary & Cultural Trophy of the year. It
was Jodhana House that won the House
Magazine Trophy, Sports Trophy and Over
All Best House Trophy of the year.
12. School Picnic: On 14 December 2020, our
school arranged a picnic to Krishna Resort
Ajmer for the school staff and their families.
The picnic was very much refreshing and
enjoyable. It was a nice change from our daily
routine. Everybody enjoyed the journey to
Ajmer as the atmosphere inside the bus was
very vibrant and playful. Teachers and their
family members played Antakshari. At Krishna
resort, all were mesmerized with the natural
beauty of the place, children danced on music,
had toy train ride and enjoyed swings and
maize. At lunch, all tasted the delicacies of
Rajasthan. And then a Puppet and Magic show
was organized to entertain the staff. The ended
with happy memories.
13. Road Safety Campaign: During Road
Safety Campaign in the month of December,
Birla White safety team conducted an awareness
session for students on Road safety on 18 Dec
2019. Road safety videos were shown to
students and safety quiz was also conducted
during the session.
14. Release of School&House
Magazine:The X edition of the school
magazine Arunodaya was released featuring the
important events of the session 2018-19.
On 30 Jan 2020, our school Principal Mrs.
Priyadarshini Chauhan released the house
magazines of all the four houses and
congratulated the students for their creative
expressions and talent exhibited in the creation
of all the magazines.
15. Farewell: Outgoing batch of class XII was
bidden farewell on 06 February 2020 in
Rajashree Birla Auditorium. They were given
warm welcome and conferred with titles and
mementoes. Class XI students presented a
cultural programme to entertain them. School
Principal and teachers wished them a great
success in their Board Exams and bright future
ahead.
16. Self Defense Training: A five days Self
Defense Training was organized for the girls of
classes VI-IX from 17 Feb to 22 Feb 2020 in
our school. The aim of this training was tomake
them physically strong and mentally confident
by equipping them with essential self-defense
techniques and skills. The training was
inaugurated by Mr. Prabal Pratap Singh, Vice
Chairman SMC. Ms. Richa Gaur, 3rd
Dan Black
Belt from Global Institute of Self Defense and
Martial Arts, Jaipur was the main trainer.
17. Values Week Celebration:As a part of Values
Week Celebration in Birla White, a workshop
on Group Valueswas conducted by Mr. Prabhat
Rai, HOD, HR for students of classes VI to
VIII. He shared the significance of these values
through a PPT and had a healthy interaction
with students which concluded with a Quiz on
Group Values. Children were encouraged to
participate and were awarded with prizes.
18. SMC Meeting: The second SMC meeting of
the session was held on Feb 27, 2020 in the
school. It was chaired by Mr. Prabal Pratap
Singh, Vice Chairman SMC and FH, HR Birla
White.
19. Awareness Session on Covid-19: An
awareness session on Covid-19 for the ABPS
Staff was conducted by Dr. C.P. Mathur of
Aditya Birla Health Care Centre on 12 March,
2020.
Participation &Achievements Beyond
School:
AryabhattaGanit Challenge: 80 students of VIII,
IX&X participated in the first level of AryabhattaGanit
Challenge conducted by CBSE on 20 November 2019
in our school. AkritiJaketia (IX), Lovenimesh Singh
Rathore (IX) and Rohit Khoja (X) cleared the first level
and appeared in the second level conducted on 29
November 2019.
CBSE Science Exhibition: Four students of class XI
represented our school in CBSE Regional Science
Exhibition held in Maheshawari Public School, Jaipur
from 22 Nov 2019 to 23 Nov 2019. Our students
displayed two models on „Road Safety‟ and „Sewage
Water Treatment‟ based on theme „Resource
Management‟.
Silver Zone Olympiad 2019-20:
1. English Olympiad:65 students of our school
appeared in Silver Zone English Olympiad
conducted by Silver Zone Foundation New
Delhi on 18 December 2019. In this Olympiad,
8 students won gold medals, 7 students got
silver medals and 5 bagged bronze medals. Ms.
Vani Bhatnagar and Master KartikSoniof class
IXwere selected for second level of the
Olympiad held on 12 February 2020.
2. Maths Olympiad:134 students participated in
Silver Zone Maths Olympiad. 3 students won
gold medals, 1 student achieved silver medal
whereas one more student bagged bronze medal.
3. Science Olympiad: Out of 103 students, 9
students topped their respective classes by
winning gold medals, 5 won silver medals and 4
secured bronze medals in Silver Zone Science
Olympiad.Shreyali Mishra of VI and
NakulJangid of VII were selected for the second
level of the Olympiad.
Literary Achievements:Master Aryaveer Singh
Rathore of class X and Ms. Vani Bhatnagar of class IX
cleared the preliminary round of ABG Inter-School
Debate competition and represented the school in the
final round of the competition held at The Aditya Birla
Public School Awarpur, Maharashtra on 29 Jan 2020.
Sports Achievement: Ms. Ramgeeta of class VIII won
the third position in district level Discus Throw
competition held in Jodhpur on 02 October 2019.
Students’ Professional Achievements:
1. Master Aniruddha, a pass out student of XII
Science, batch 2018-19 made the school proud
with his selection in NDA in January 2020.
2. Master UtsavMundra and Ms. Anjali Chordia,
pass out students of batch of XII Commerce,
batch 2018-19 brought laurels to school by
clearing CA Foundation Examination.
3. Master Yogendra Singh Bhati a pass out student
of XII Science, batch 2018-19 was selected in
Indian Air Force to serve our nation.
Staff Professional Development:
1. A session on Health and Stress Management
was conducted by Mr. Arun Rishi, the founder
of AyushmanBhav Trust and Research Institute,
Ujjain for the school staff on 26 September
2019.
2. Mr. Naveen Mittal, PGT Maths, attended the
Teachers Training Programmeon “Spot
Evaluation” conducted by CBSE on 11 January
2020 at DPS Jodhpur.
3. Mr. B.K. Tiwari, TGT Science, attended a
training programme on „Innovative Teaching‟
conducted at RKK Girls Public School, Jodhpur
on 15 January 2020 under the initiative of „Hubs
of Learning‟.
4. All teachers teaching the Board Classes attended
an online workshop on Invigilation and Spot
Evaluation.
Infrastructural Developments:
1. Four classrooms were added in the newly
constructed first floor of KG Block.
2. Junior computer lab was renovated to make it
more convenient for students.
