Welcome to a New Year from your new ABTO Board, Dave Kitchen, Ginny Morris, Steve
Lewis, Daryll Smith Colin Criswell, and Darrell Woolfolk.
To finish off the year, we had a very nice and successful Christmas Party. Our guests
from Durango, George Niederauer and Duane Danielson gave a presentation on what our
club donation is doing for the historical society.
We did miss Jim and Carol Kangas, and hope Carol is feeling better. Daryll and Mary
Smith also missed the dinner due to being under the weather. We wish them a speedy
recovery.
Congratulations to Don Halver on his receipt of the Glenn Sampson Award. The Award
was presented to Don by Katy Sampson with Rich Hull assisting. Don has been a part of ABTO and served in many
capacities. Each task he took on was completed with success and continues to be a major force for our club.
Thanks to Rich Hull for his help in the continuation of the Glenn Sampson Award.
I would like to thank all members who opened their homes and those who helped at
the Christmas Open House Tours for the 2015 season. I visited several homes and enjoyed the layouts and visit-
ing our members. We had a successful Open House season, with more than 6,100 guests and substantial dona-
tions.
We had a trip to El Paso to spend Christmas with our daughter, son-in-law, and grand
kids. We just beat the snow storm by hours. And now we are ready to start a New Year and hopefully improve-
ments for the coming year.
